Should the Borg ever appear in another Star Trek series again?

...be done right, I'm sorry to say I was convinced by their use in Picard. The reclaimation cube was a neat idea, but tainted by slaughtering the recovered XBs. I liked the Borg becoming federation allies, could be more stories to explore there. But ultimately the purity of their concept has eroded.

Would you support the Federation's expansionist policies?

and, of course, there would be the people who just want to bone them

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Well, I’m going to let you, the audience, do the work on that yourself, because I’m tired of getting in circular debates with you. There’s plenty of evidence around as to how much I care for the shows of the Kurtzman era, and I’m not getting into a purity test over my credentials.

(And I always make an effort not to make judgement as though claiming to have seen something I haven’t. The two...

...Not only was the "acting" terrible (and I don't even know how that's possible in Myers' case), but the whole idea of some kind of Canadian "purity" test is really a turn off, especially after reading about what happened to the MacDonald sisters. Not to mention that Carney's not exactly in a...

^It could be a purity thing, where the Empire considers humans that weren’t born on Earth/within the Empire to be as lowly as any extraterrestrial species.

Spoilers STAR TREK: SECTION 31 - Grading & Discussion

...Well you know there's been about a dozen of those in Star Trek canon. If they made them a new creation that explored the ideas of cultural purity pushed by a demagogue, how that filters down into discrimination and radicalizes a population, and the Federation having to deal with a threat...

The Butcher’s Knife Cares Not for the Lamb’s Cry Line-by-Line

L'RELL: What good is purity if it only leads to death? My father was T'Kuvma's blood kin, but my mother was House Mokai, the watcher clan, the deceivers, the weavers of lies. When I was a child, she gave me a bat'leth and told me to cleave my own heart. To choose one House over the other...

Why the hate for Alex Kurtzman?

Hm, actually there is nothing wrong with keeping some of the ideas and elements. The whole "The XO is the actual star of the show" is definitely something, that I'd put in the "Win"-Coloumn. Okay, that show us, what you would've liked to see, and yes, the idea of progressing is quite...

Why the hate for Alex Kurtzman?

...the idea of a culture that gets lured in by a zealot preaching "Make the Empire Great Again." The destructiveness of the concept of cultural purity, both on the grand and personal scales, and how that filters down into the way Voq is treated because he's an albino. On the other side, staying...

Why is toxic fandom destroying everything?

...characters like Walter and Gus, etc). Now, the worst of online toxic fandom will have the support of the MAGA dominated state. I'm now glad I've buying NuTrek shows on bluray (I'm getting irrationally fearful they'll destroy entertainment as part of a mad media censorship purity spiral).
