Which series would you want next?

I basically want a limited series featuring the return of Sisko and the Dominion. Or nothing frankly. It would need damn good writers though.

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Or... the Klingons didn't get weaker, but Starfleet got much stronger and matched up more evenly. The Klingons did have a brief war with the Federation at the beginning of DS9 season 5.

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

You mean like World War II. Because Britain was an ally didn't mean they didn't have a military.

...to the UFP compared to where they were in the 23rd century. Their Technological & Fighting Prowess gap is much smaller than it once was. Also Jem'Hadar wasn't fighting the UFP alone. It was a Alliance between the Klingons, UFP, Romulans vs Dominion, Cardassians (Until they turned), & Breen.

Must There Be A Section 31?

...diminished by this point they appear to not even be involved. leaving the cleanup of the incident to Starfleet security, and assumedly, Starfleet Intel. by the Dominion War: far more secretive with plausible deniability, Section 31 operates more like it initially did in the United Earth period.

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

...rank of Commander and posting as the Enterprise's XO isn't exactly an outrageous request, even if it does mean squandering a valuable and needed asset. At the very least, Riker most certainly should have been amongst the first batch of officer promoted to Captain when the Dominion War broke out.

Must There Be A Section 31?

...one though, they were cartoonishly bad. But the one from DS9 and from ST:ID, oh yeah, absolutely. The ones from DS9 made a 10K year old Dominion Empire extinct, bringing them to their knees with the virus. "Alexander Marcus needed to respond to an uncivilized threat in a civilized time."...

And when exactly did that happen? Following the Borg was the Klingons civil war followed by the Dominion War, followed by another Borg attack followed by The Living Construct attack which was followed by the attack on Utopia Planitia, which is when Starfleet very specifically started to scale...

Game The Most Disliked Ferengi Episode, 2025 Edition

Saving "RULES OF ACQUISITION". A good episode, and a clever way to introduce the Dominion. (Who'd have thought that a Ferengi episode would be the first mention of such an important part of the show?) Also, many of the Rules of Acquisition can easily be used in your daily lives. TNG Season...

    ketracel white

With the Dominion cut off from the Gamma Quadrant, they needed to figure out how to mass produce the Ketracel White. That means they had to rely on factions like "The Sona" to do business with. There's probably something in the Ketracel White that needs to be grown at large scale, otherwise...

    ketracel white

I suspect the Jem'hadar loyalty to the Founders ultimately is stronger than their dependence on the white, so the Dominion feels it has little to fear from outsourcing production of the white. Also, as noted elsethread, they may have been in a position where they didn't have much choice at the time.

"The Coming of Shadows" (B5 S2E9) Okay, caught up. Back to alternating between DS9 and B5. What an episode!

Spoilers The Controversial Star Wars Opinion Thread

I loved every minute of Ahsoka and Acolyte. Book of Boba Fett was great from episode 5 I think it was, whenever the Tusken flashbacks ended now they were boring. Mandalorian season 1 I didnt like apart from the finale and then season 2 onwards was great apart from that one episode all about the...

Spoilers The Controversial Star Wars Opinion Thread

...I have tried several times to watch it. Fallen asleep several times. Mind you, i felt the same during Ahsoka and Book of Boba Fett. I don't mind slow pacing, i love old movies, and hell the first few seasons of DS9 before the Dominion show up are slow paced , but Andor is sooooooo sloooooooow
