    Things that frustrate us all

Think I have one more cut to do this year (assuming I have a long enough dry spell) but we are still talking mid-late October go back a few years and it used to be more mid-september. But the mower will still be out mowing up the leaves well into November. It's so much quicker than using the...

    Things that frustrate us all

Grass cutting season seems to be getting longer of later as well as starting earlier in the year, most annoying.

    Queen Elizabeth II HAS DIED.

Well she has done her duty, time fer her to rest.

Did I read that right? "God's WIll" Why don't people who seemingly want unrestircted access to guns just admit that's what they want no matter how many innocent people die for their fetish? True many factors such as the ones you list factor into crime rates, besides in the USA it doesn't...

    Things that frustrate us all

How busy was it from your direction? Did someone stop short of the line? As there might have been sensors in the road, I've been stuck behind someone at lights before and they have stopped short of the line and you can see where the sensors are in the road to detect traffic and they aren't on...

    Feline Follies

I can do one better, sometimes my cat will indicate he wants fed, so he watches me put the food out, then ignores it. So I go back to the opposite end of the house and he'll want in. So I walk him back around to his food and then he decides he wants to eat it.

Isn't that the best way to get through most days? ;)

    Things that frustrate us all

Well given that the US has one of the highest average weights for people it's hardly surprisng that the resting calorie burn rate is higher. Not that the UK is much better when it comes to average weights. But the 2000 calorie figure is just a benchmark figure, if you have a more active...

Neither, in order to improve traffic flow you should ideally merge into lane as close as practical in a safe manner to the merge pint.

    Things that frustrate us all

Yeah I know as I have had to change from an International flight to a US domestic flight at O'Hare, fortunantly I had something like a 3.5 hour lay over, it seemed like a long 3.5 hours.

    Things that frustrate us all

Even very low protection is better than zero protection, besides everything we do carries some degree of risk it's just that most of us try to reduce those risks. Though I suspect many find it harder to have sympathy for those who oppose vaccines/masks etc.. who end up getting the condition...

    Things that frustrate us all

I've not stopped wearing a mask just because some politican tells me it's ok not to. I'll make my own determination based on availble evidence when it is safe enough not to wear a mask (as well as other precautions)

Similar to the UK, you are not supposed to stop on a pedestriation crossing, nor park within the marked within the marked area around a crossing still there are plenty of people how think the rules don't apply to them

    Things that frustrate us all

The even more frustrating ones that pull out in front of you causing you to slow down and they turn off at the next junction 200 yards down the road, when as you say there was an empty road behind you.

    Things that frustrate us all

Driving too slow can be as dangerous as driving too fast, and in the UK you could be charged with a motoring offense for going to slow. Thw worst offenders are those that go just slow enough to be frustrating but just fast enough to make overtaking difficult and most of the time they seem...

    what's your local weather?

Far to hot for my liking with temps getting to 30-32C, and we are under an Amber weather warning for temps. And theres barely even a breeze to take it down a few degrees.

What tropes in science fiction annoy you?

”Space,” it says, ”is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mind-boggingly big it is. I mean you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space. So it is fesabile for there to be only one ship in range, that being said if you are...
