How can there not be a date yet?

Years ago, while staying at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA, I started my journey in trying various forms of grits and how they're served. I was getting ready to mix some butter and sugar into them, when a waitress came over and said, "I'm gonna show you how to mix these for breakfast!"...

    Season 3 First Look

It wasn't a projector, really. They stood at a console, set it for what they wanted and the whole room changed into the setting they wanted, much like the holodeck, save for the console being in the middle of the room.

William Shatner Confirms Talks for Star Trek Return at 93 Years Old

I'm still thinking SNW goes 5 (to make it a true five-year mission, get home, hand over to Kirk and Pike goes off to his fate as a permanent Fleet Captain) and SFA, maybe 2, since they're already apparently planning the second season, aren't they?

William Shatner Confirms Talks for Star Trek Return at 93 Years Old

My thinking is that whatever pitch or idea that's being floated to Shatner is going to be in line with the Unification short film, taking the Daystrom Station reference and going from that. Maybe not using Mitchell and Colt, but something that has to do with Project Phoenix - maybe in the 32nd...

They were successful in the heist to get money from CBS!

    "It's Star Trek, but EDGY"

Or those toy helmets with the blinking red light on top. Keep them white with the bold font in capital letters denoting Section 31 and their name. Light only to be on while on away missions.

    Garrett Series/TV Show?

This part is what I have an issue with (among many in the movie), in that if Section 31 is supposed to be operating outside of Starfleet, why even have an observer from Starfleet? They're supposed to be a group that does things that Starfleet can't or won't do. Why have Starfleet presence...

News Starfleet Academy Coming to P+

And there have been mentions of certain tactics being studied at the Academy over time (one being Kirk saying Korrd's strategies were required reading) No issues with a War College from me, either. My anxiety comes from what was just experienced with Section 31 and if this will at all be good.

    "It's Star Trek, but EDGY"

I will say that the leather jackets in Beyond, Picard and some of the SNW versions here and there (landing party gear) look fantastic! I would have liked to have seen the movie era maroon for a quick bit on Garrett in Section 31.

Spoilers Section 31 General Discussion Thread

I really do feel bad for the actors in this, save for maybe Michelle Yeoh (who it seems wanted this to be a vanity project) because they are either great fans of Star Trek or really enjoyed that they would be a part of the lore and universe. They were let down by a horrible script and horrible...

    "It's Star Trek, but EDGY"

I didn't even think about the leather jackets being in almost everything! Looks like those and eyeballs are the hallmarks of a Kurtzman production!

Star Trek having a cheap / low budget a misnomer?

Indeed. In fact, Paramount Home Video did a five volume set of TOS episodes (2 per cassette, with Volume 1 being both parts of "The Menagerie") in the late 1970's/early 1980's, a single cassette release of "Space Seed" in 1982, of course before the release of the entire series in the late...

    Garrett Series/TV Show?

I agree! Somewhere along the way, it was thought that each new Star Trek had to be moved forward, where the idea is to show that humanity has "moved forward" from the here and now. Star Trek should just show us somewhere in our future, telling great stories with a varied group of people...

Do you consider Section 31 a Trek movie?

I did notice, while watching something that had some of the trailer clips, it does carry an MPAA rating of PG-13. I'm sure some other TV movies may carry that, but since it was rated by the MPAA, I would consider it as a movie that way as well.

    Section 31 Star Map

DS9 was originally a Cardassian station, wasn't it? The map above is naming them as "Starbase", a nomenclature generally used by Starfleet (as well as using Starfleet emblems to denote them).

Which series would you want next?

It would also lend itself to some characters being like Edison in Star Trek Beyond, where he was used to fighting enemies, now having to seek them out to join the Federation in peace. I wouldn't do the Discovery trick of leaving the bridge in the middle of a crucial situation, but I liken it to...

    Section 31 Star Map

I liked seeing Fesarius, Izar and Gideon on there, but there are starbases located outside Federation space?

Or that over-the-top death scene? They were telegraphing his comeback a mile away.
