Spoilers TTN: Fortune Of War by David Mack Review Thread

Maybe "Tren" and "Tran" are like "Smith" or "Johnson" among the Breen.

Cast the Characters of Trek Literature

Hey, guys. Been a while! I thought I’d share a few more random casting ideas that have jumped at me recently: Bryan Cranston as Elias Vaughn. Rinko Kikuchi as Prynn Tenmei. Pedro Pascal as Diego Reyes. Felicity Jones as T’Prynn. Angela Bassett as Afsarah Eden. Adam Driver as Ranul Keru. Thoughts?

Cast the Characters of Trek Literature

So this idea recently jumped to mind after seeing season two of The Mandalorian. How about Temuera Morrison as Taran'atar?

Re: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Worlds of Deep Space Nine #3: Dominion Be sure you have a copy of Warpath on standby for after the Dominion story. It's INTENSE!

Top Ten of your all-time favorite Star Trek novels

My top ten are: 10. The Persistence of Memory. 9. Serpents Among The Ruins. 8. Lost Souls (really, the entire Destiny trilogy). 7. Avatar (I count those as one novel). 6. Dark Mirror. 5. S31: Disavowed. 4. Warpath (nail-biter!) 3. Harbinger/Storming Heaven (hard to say, haha). 2. Raise The...

Spoilers S31: Disavowed by David Mack Review Thread

Okay, so I'm on page 166 so far, and I have to say (no spoilers), this is easily so far one of the most exciting, action-packed Star Trek novels yet. A worth entry. Also... Awww...a Breen with a crush. ;)

Cast the Characters of Trek Literature

I haven't really followed this thread for a while, but I had some new cast ideas come to mind. Zhao Sheng: while I agree Chow Yun-Fat would be a good choice, I actually picture (of all people) Ken Watanabe. Ming Xiong: Jet Li is a good enough choice, but my personal pick is Will Yun Lee...

SKRS #2: Point of Divergence by Ward&Dilmore Review Thread (Spoilers!)

Re: SKRS #2: Point of Divergence by Ward&Dilmore Review Thread (Spoile So far, so good, guys. The Tomol continue to be some of the most interesting new species we've encountered yet. I'm also quite a fan of how the crew are adjusting post-Vanguard. Also (minor spoiler). I spotted a Fight...

Sound effects. Anybody want to refresh my memory?

First I'd like to say, I'm a sound effects maniac, especially in sci-fi franchises. However, it does irk me when I hear these Star Wars SFX in Star Trek because they seem so out of place... However, I didn't start this thread to rant, but rather to get a refresher...

Should the Borg be the villain in Trek 3?

Ah, no. I don't think the Borg should be the next villain in Star Trek 13 (sick of this '3' stuff). I think it's a bad idea to keep trying to shoehorn in aspects of Trek that shouldn't be encountered for so many years. What I want is for the next film to try and be somewhat close to the spirit...

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I'm currently reading DS9: Lesser Evil. So far, I really like it due to the extra development of Elias Vaughn. I'd have to say it might be my second favorite of the Mission Gamma novels right behind the amazing Twilight (This Gray Spirit was very sub-par, and Cathedral had a slow first half and...

Spoilers TOS: Devil's Bargain by Tony Daniel Review Thread

I haven't purchased it yet, but the asteroid approaching the planet plot sounds a bit like Deep Impact or Armageddon, not that I'm complaining, sounds neat!

Cast the Characters of Trek Literature

Deep Space Nine: Delias Unchained. "The D is silent!" *Shoots a guy with a phaser*

David R. George writting another new Startrek novel.

Some authors write one series better than others, and I think DRGIII should be handcuffed to the DS9 writer's chair!

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I've finished Jeri Taylor's Mosaic, and I thought it was pretty solid, despite not being a huge fan of the TV show Voyager. Next, I'm reading Peter Telep's Ghost Recon: Choke Point.

TNG: Dark Mirror by Diane Duane Review Thread (Spoilers!)

I haven't read this one for a while now, but from what I remember, it was impressive! The evil Troi was one of the best elements; not to mention the mirror ISS Enterprise-D sounded neat looking. (I want to see a real image of it!) I'll have to give it another go.

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I'm currently reading Mosaic by Jeri Taylor, it's a pretty solid biography on future captain Janeway.

The New Expanded Humorous Novel List

The ABYSS one is hilarious! A true Bond villian! :rommie: I lol'd at all of the ones I read, though!
