Question. Reading up on the Excelsior and Refit class. It is said Sulu ran an 'Emergency Saucer Separation' on his ship. If so where would the primary and secondary hulls part? Also, how would the warp core be ejected if needed, or is that why they preform a Emergency Saucer Separation for this...

Very true. I have looked at all three for the Excelsior Class Ship, and there are very few windows on the secondary hull.

I always thought turning the lights low with the reaction chamber going, using the display indicators to full bright and then put on some music and have a mini rave would be cool. hehe

You make a lot of good points, and with the Intrepid warp core there wasn't any donuts shapes but some 'Railings'(?) along the length. They might of been a new method to do the same thing. I do agree that they have a function of increasing the fuel consumption rate to achieve a higher warp...

You mean something to the like of the Intrepid's aeroshuttle, right? That is an idea. All that is listed there is a Cargo Conveyor System.

As I said in another post, I been looking at a lot of the Star ship's blueprints. Most have the warp core as being large with about equal length up and down around the reaction chamber. The Excelsior is very much offset then the rest. Also, the original one was to have two warp cores in it, yet...

I agree some sorta small pre-programmed robot set to go out at set times, the night time of the ship. Always liked the idea of those little bots that Andromeda and Farscape had all over the ship. Also didn't the larger ships like the Enterprise - D have general crew to do the the every day...

Very true. I have a story I want to write but i want to plan out the ship first as i want to take the same path to the locations. As that has always bugged me when reading.

That I agree with. Draw what looks good, figure out a scale and then fudge the rest. I love how it looks but it makes the Math side of my brain hurt.

I been looking at many of the Star ship blueprints and noticed that one location says X amount of decks yet another sight says Y. Also, when I look at Ships about the same size, they each have a different amount of decks. I look up several ships and took the Height and divided by the number...
