Section 31 was never fully planned, they went full steam ahead to try piggy back off Yeoh winning an Oscar even though it was because of the quality of the film and script rather than her performance. Chasing trends to try make money, rather than having a creative and ideologically based idea.
You could of course engaged in good faith debate.
But, from what I have seen, that is impossible from certain users trying to appeal to a certain group of users.
I saw a clip of the mini-series with Captain Falcon and the Winter Soldier or whatever, now I see the same actor telling people that the movie is for everyone and we need to be united. The movies fail to have an ideological and consistent goal, which will ultimately be to the detriment of their...
That's true, but there will always be people who are disliked for whatever reason. Matalas is disliked for people on here simply because he made Star Trek palatable to people once more for a brief moment rather than universally reviled. I remember with Enterprise it was the same thing when Coto...
Not quite sure how people still come out with this when there have been showrunners people have been receptive to after a bad period.
Ira Behr, Manny Coto, Akiviva Goldsman, Terry Matalas off the top of myhead. RDM was heavily involved in DS9 with Behr too supposedly.
I will not be seeing this movie due to the inclusion of Sabra, but it seems like it has been rated one of the lowest reviewed movies for some time and the trailers back this up. Seems pretty clear to me that "Endgame" should have been the end of Marvel and they should have tried something new.
What barometer would you like Trek to be rated against?
I don't like Star Wars in general, but is quite clear that she has done a horrible job but remains in charge. She oversaw Indian Jones 4 and the absolute disaster that was too.
Wrong.
It's because people are tired of Americans taking nationalities as a personality. If they are going to make him Irish - hire an Irish actor who can do the accent justice and not a guy doing an accent cause the audience finds it funny. I want you to imagine if they did a stereotypical...
I am not only not "overacting" to pictures, I am not even resspoding to pictures.
What are you talking about? There are zero pictures. What on earth are you talking about?
Once again a user on here gaslights and trolls in an attempt to defame me with ZERO repercussions.
Please delete your post.
Can we please shout out to all the people who spent six months attacking and dogpiling anyone who said that this seemed like a bad idea? It feels like we should not listen to them - but we will.
R.T.D is another guy who really enjoyed a certain SEASON OF STAR TREK RECENTLY that doesn't appear to be popular with certain people on here.
It'd be AWESOME if they got him for a few episodes :)
It's because literally no one cared about any of those characters, their plots and the entire plot was shit apart from Raffi and that was only cause Michelle Hurd is a good actress.
