It's eyerolling whenever the ship's functions stop working, rendering the ship motionless. They couldn't have used thrusters?
Thrusters appear to work by some sort of explosive propulsion, like a rocket. Even in a case like Booby Trap, they can't move by warp or impulse, but I bet a kinetic...
I wasn't going to write a dissertation in a junk post that only serves to move the count along, so I was just going to keep it basic.
But if you want more information, I dislike yet another episode revolving around a space/time distortion, a reset button, and a ridiculous plot. And when I...
I'll put in a point for All Good Things... The 'mood' of early TNG was long gone by the end. Everything got flat, and the 'sonic wallpaper' added nothing. And when I think of the last episode, I think of what they jumped right into next.... Generations. :scream:

Solid episodes, but Family is the weakest link. They follow a tour de force scene by Patrick Stewart with a mopey scene of Wesley watching a recording of his dad. Sigh, I guess it had to go somewhere.

Parallels. It's good for season 7, but not as good as the best of the earlier seasons. Plus it began the pointless Worf/Troi romance.

Who Snoozes the Snoozers? Super boring. Typical Roddenberry-istic episode too. A planet full of primitives rejected religion 1000+ years ago (somehow) but instantly jump back into it without hesitation. Uh huh.

Enjoyable episode, but I will knock Peak Performance out. The one thing I can't stand about this episode is Picard and Riker's initial smug attitude toward a battle exercise. You idiots just had your asses handed to you, and you want to pretend that defensive strategy is needless? Guess what...
Those two are easy to confuse. Another one I have trouble with is Bloodlines and Firstborn, maybe even Inheritance. You could swap the titles and never know.
The Neutral Zone. The Ferengi didn't work out, so they need to bring back a familiar villain, the Romulans. With awful shoulderpads. But only introduce them at the very end of the B-plot and devote the majority of the episode to some "backwards" 20th century caricatures, a hillbilly country...
I'd still like the show to explain how Geordi's hands were burned by the interface "overload". That's some BS.
Ah, season 7, let's see, we had episodes revolving around:
Geordi's mom
Troi's mom
Data's 'mom'
Worf's brother
Beverly's grandmother
Worf's son
Picard's supposed son
7 out of 26...
It's like they thought "I really like The Thing, let's do something like that. Oh, and LeVar has been bugging me for another episode with a love interest. Oh, and dogs, everyone loves dogs."
It was still not the worst thing Braga and Moore wrote together. That would be Generations.
I'm surprised Code of Honor wasn't the first to go. Even taking the racism out of the equation, it's yet another lame rehash of a classic TOS episode, Amok Time.

For me, basically every episode with a Ron Jones score.
The ones where he really brings his A-game and elevates decent episodes into classics for me are Booby Trap, A Matter of Perspective, The Defector, Q Who. Best of Both Worlds goes without saying.
The fixes that went into TNG that are now part of the digital versions on Netflix were completed back when the CBS Digital team was still together. A year later now, the team is disbanded, so I doubt there will be any further changes. The fixes that we see on Netflix were a "just throw it in"...
At least Sub Rosa is so ridiculous, that I can hate-watch it. Imaginary Friend is too drab for me to enjoy.
Shades of Gray is the popular answer for worst episode just like Spock's Brain is, but both shows have episodes that are far far worse.
