I think the only nitpick I would have would be the showed stormtrooper armor far earlier than it probably should have appeared. But this is the kind of place where we nitpick that kind of stuff. The fact that Luthen didn’t go out in ablaze of glory, shouting his message before getting cut down...

Goddamn that was good. The ending for some came a lot quicker than expected. They need to give these writers and directors all the Star Wars projects. This is what we want.

That was damn good. Episode 8 really turned up the tension. Syril growing a conscious and a spine was welcome character growth for him. His confronting Dedra was a surprise and I was impressed by how characters came out of it, while plenty of people thought they were play acting a relationship...

So back to the Enterprise-A, the idea of a technology demonstrator makes a whole lot of sense, especially given the relatively futuristic appearance of her systems at the end of ST-3 and 4. While we know the real-world reason, in-universe for her to be furnished as if she was a galaxy class...

I just liked how normal it was. Them going to a corner market to buy groceries and then cooking at home. Details like that are what makes this really good. I also liked references to stuff that happened between the episode blocks, but that they didn't go into details or flashbacks.

I mean we all expect that Bix is gonna get shwacked, but they could just as easily keep her alive by the end of it. Have her away on another mission during the events of Rogue One. If they're smart, have her be part of a follow-on show, similar to Andor, but during the events of the original...

I'm just saddened that they spent so much money on something that will probably be considered a flop. That money could have gotten us another season or two of LD or Prodigy

Well now we know why they had such a late media blackout for this.

Last weeks was definitely a better episode, but this was still fun. They were definitely messing with us by constantly mentioning The Enterprise and making us think they’d actually involve the crew.

God damn that was an episode. I guess we now know why the rest of the season was all fillers.

This lends credence to the idea that the only reason Starfleet kept Riker on the Enterprise post Wolf 359 was as a backup in case Picard became an issue.

Well that was a fun and light episode. Not a whole lot to it though.

I know this would probably be a stereotypical answer, but I could see mothballed Constitution classes being utilized for this kind for duty. Big enough to be multirole and given the capabilities of the 24th century you could have them mostly automated allowing for smaller crew sizes.
