Nah, this is the worst. Ashoka's biggest sin was that it was boring, Thrawn was great. BoBF had the fantastic Mando episodes and finale. Mando S3 was great. Even Kenobi had a fantastic finale. Maybe Acolyte can pull off a miracle in its finale too.

This is probably the worst of the D+ Star Wars shows and that's saying something.

Honestly I think the whole Calypso crap was part of the Temporal War, maybe an important part of it finally ending. Which would be why Daniels knew about it, hell he was probably waiting for the day Discovery showed up in the 32nd century.

Overall I'd say this continues the streak of Star Trek series having trouble sticking the landing.

Starfleet was probably scrambling for captains after the one-two punch of Wolf 359 and the Dominion War.

Making the Primarch someone with the depth and temperament of Cobra Commander certainly didn't help.

Discovery not being an ensemble show like every other Trek/major sci-fi show really hurt it.
