Just friends. Nothing more. I do find it funny how some insist they are or should be. Similarly there was a lot of anticipation a few years ago with some fans about making kirk bisexual. Never has been evidence for that either but people were lobbying for it and still are. It would be a major...
Yup. I would love to have seen more of the 25th century. I have no interest in the 32nd century. I wish the academy series would have been placed in the 25th..
I think they want to update the prime timeline and TOS stands out from all the rest in terms of its more primitive looking tech. I can't see them bringing Kirk into SNW so much without a future plan to either retell some TOS or tell new stories of the five year mission. Maybe a combo of both.
TAS is really good. I've been watching it. Taking my time and trying to enjoy each episode.
Totally agree. The 80s to early 2000s were a good time for Trek. Berman did a out job keeping Canon pretty consistent. He acknowledge the original show and the way it looked. The berman era had the...
Well its official mission role is scientific and exploratory but it also operates as a military when needed. So its military role while secondary is there so its the best of both worlds. But starfleets prime function is not military its scientific and exploratory.
I see exactly what you are saying. Starfleet is primarily an exploration entity. That was their primary purpose in Archers time. They exolore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations to boldly go where no man
...no one has gone before. They are explorers before military when...
Exactly. Im not sure why the SNW producers are so worried about when khan was born. In 55 years are they going to telescope it to 2080? There really isnt a reason for that. The earth of star trek doesnt need to follow our earth.
Exactly. The new grid in the second movie was on a more advanced system. So computer graihics had advanced so much that it had to have a different look. I love both looks on both movies. The light cycles were sweet in legacy. It looks like they are in ares as well..
Thats the comic books. This movie might not be following any of that. It might follow some. Who knows.
In the comics J Jonah Jameson convinced everyone galactus was a hoax in the first encounter. 😂
Not during the whole fight I believe.
You make two excellent points Christopher.
I liked the trailer for the most part. I really hope they save their earth. A lot of people think they won't and will go to the 616 earth. Their earth looks cool. I wouldnt mind seeing a few movies in their...
Yeah. The surfer isnt as shiny as the one we saw 18 years ago. The cgi rendering seems of pooer quality. But its not terrible. I do have high hopes for galactus and the Taa.
Look at the gauntlet during the fight. The stone was not glowing. He wasnt using it. He was fighting the hulk without using the stone. He beat the Hulk with his own fighting skills not enhanced or helped by the stones at all.
We might. I would prefer savage hulk but it looks like smart hulk is here to stay. But even savage hulk wasn't so threatening at times. Even Thanos beat him without using the stones. The Hulks portrayal as well as Banners has been disappointing to me.
