    RIP, Kirstie Alley

I am saddened that some have taken that uncalled for stance. What person does one agree with in their actions and words 100% of the waking life, I wonder? We are flawed and we must all be forgiven for our faults. I arguer with my family all the time .. but I do not shun them .. That being said...

Kirstie Alley has passed away at 71

I wanted to offer to the community a memorial video, presented by what I think is one of the best contributors to Star Trek fandom currently producing. This Video I found so comforting and respectfiul .. it speaks for itself.

It is with great sadness I say that we have lost another great contributors to Star Trek. Kirstie Alley, best remembered as the first version of Saavik. Ms Alley was 71. I was very fond of her and enjoyed her multiple roles in the 1980s and 90s appearance. She will be missed. RIP Ms Alley.

    Nichelle Nichols has died

What can be added to this chorus of love and achievement that has not already been said. I hesitated coming to the forum, at least until I knew what I would I say. Ms Nichols was called a trail blazer, but that can't begin to describe this woman extraorinaire or her contribution. In her seminal...

    Torment of Destiny: Workprint

I am so pleased to see this .. I wondered if I would ever see the last performance of Richard Hatch, whom I'd admired greatly. This and the releases of "Origins", 2021 has already marked itself as better than the previously year. Brilliant.

6 Star Trek shows could be running simultaneously soon

YES! :bolian: And Why not, The Scooby gang to some degree inspired Buffy and that franchise made an impact as a cultural icon if not a cultural stone. All Franchises are equal even if YMMV. :D

Star Trek: First Frontier on Kickstarter

Yeah Bixby, kind of .. I think they are referred to as the Sa'ra a "genocidal" species that comes out of long hibernation every century or so. Awakening with a species instinct to 'destroy all'. I would imagine what a biological only Borg would be presented as. The Vulcans and Romulans know of...

Jodies Series is available to pre-order on Amazon

Just a question here: Why are these comments being spread with such wide brushes. As though the only color palette that can be seen are black and white and that the world has no grey's in it?

    Geordi and Leah Brahms marriage

I do not think he was "creepy", I know this is vogue currently. But plainly Geordi was infatuated and had crush on Dr. Brahms. He tried to connect with her. Let us not forget, what it was like to be in love with someone. How it was to feel you may never be in the same room with, but have a...

The perfect future: Roddenberry or Ellison?

Well, first COTEO4E, was in the first season. Second, Roddenberry did not become a "Utopian" until his post 1970's lecture period where he pondered the future of mankind moving on the road of new humanism. This view was most evident in the first season of The Next Generation.
