Andromeda and the original concept of had great potential. If it had a real Star Trek budget it may have executed better.

I'm looking forward to it. Andromeda had so much potential but ran off the tracks after the first few seasons. It was still an enjoyable show and I have said before I would love to see Kevin Sorbo at least guest star or have a multi-episode arc in Discovery.

No I don't really know their filming schedule - just in my opinion they should have had their schedule setup to move to Discovery within at least 60 days (if they are truly trying to have new trek on consistently). That would have been Discovery in May through July .... then like Lower Deck...

They should have gone right from Picard into discovery. I actually cancelled my CBS All Access Subscription after Picard.

I tend to avoid shows with season dumps because I know if I like it I won't be able to stop watching …. and there goes my weekend. I would rather have a show release weekly to avoid the temptation to watch them all at once.

It would be cool if Picard got in a no win situation …. and federation starship warps in with Captain Wesley Crusher saving Picard.

She supposedly recorded her voice phonetically so that it can be digitally used for any future needs.

So Picard will be on a non-Starfleet ship... so I guess I guess we will get some arbitrary computer voice. Hopefully though when Picard is on earth or we are in Starfleet locations we will get the proper Majel Barrett computer voice.

It seems to me Season 3 is going to be more in the line of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda set in the proper framework of the Federation falling.
