    Nyota or Christine?

Producers will literally pair Spock with anyone else before letting him kiss Jim.

News Star Trek Prodigy Cancelled, Season 2 to be shopped around

The clip looks great. Nice to see the kids again and it looks like the second season will be wildly different from the first. Would be nice to know what platform it's going to be on, though.... :vulcan:

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x09 - "Subspace Rhapsody"

It was fun. Not one of my favorite episodes of SNW, but I still enjoyed myself. Celia's voice, tho. :adore:

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x08 - "Under the Cloak of War"

I don't have the words to articulate what I loved about this episode without it sounding trite, so suffice it to say 9/10. Also, it was great seeing Clint again.

    Is SNW getting too goofy?

    DS9 disagrees.

Spoilers Strange New Worlds Episode 7 - Those Old Scientists

Eugene Cordero is too handsome to be kept off camera. Maybe next time...

    Is SNW getting too goofy?

I find it telling that for years we've heard constant cries of "Star Trek is too serious", when Disco was the flagship series. Now that SNW is the flagship series, it's "Star Trek is too silly".

Spoilers Strange New Worlds Episode 7 - Those Old Scientists

An easy 10/10. The cast, the writing, and Mr. Frakes' directing had this episode firing on on cylinders. It seems so effortless how this show is able to keep progressing character arcs forward, even while executing on outlandish concepts like this one (and others). In less than twenty episodes...

    Is SNW getting too goofy?

Nope. Trek has always been silly. One of the most beloved movies is a comedy about whales. If anything, SNW feels like it has returned to an equilibrium that other P+ shows have been missing.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x06 - "Lost in Translation"

Quinto seems a lot angrier than Nimoy's Spock. I completely agree. Peck is also a lot funnier as Spock, which is something Nimoy was great at, too.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x06 - "Lost in Translation"

Third time's a charm for Paul Wesley's Kirk. His motivations and actions in this episode screamed classic Kirk, while played with a sort of blending of Pine and Shatner. Celia Gooding and Bruce Horak absolutely stole the show. For the second time, I've cried when Hemmer said goodbye. Carol Kane...

Which Starfleet MD would be your preferred GP?

I visit doctors a lot. I'm in my 30s, but because I'm also trans (and medically transitioning) I see, and have seen, lots of doctors. I've had my share of GPs (General Practitioners), too. I've often been envious, as an American with immediate medical needs, of the crews of the various Starfleet...

What do you guys actually like about discovery?

How is he "lacking" masculinity? Saru has strength, but physical and emotional. He's shown that on multiple occasions. He's courageous, often fighting hard against a biological instinct to flee in order to do his duty; A courage than only deepens once he goes through the Vahar'ai. He's...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x05 - "Charades"

Sevet was precious. He would have been totally content to have a dad night at the grill with Pike.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x05 - "Charades"

Ethan Peck continues to delight as Spock, oscillating between the Spock we know and a Spock we don't with perfection. The supporting cast are used wonderfully here, especially Jess Bush's Chapel. I was howling and giggling from start to finish. Spock, you're such a messy bitch, I love it. 10/10...

TV Guide featuring Voyager, "most promising and risky Star Trek yet!"

Yeah, for me, when it comes to TNG vs VOY, I definitely come down on VOY's side. TNG admittedly has higher highs than VOY, but it also has much lower lows - and not just in the first two seasons. I'd much rather watch Threshold than episodes like Masks, Descent, Man of the People, and any...

    Poll Best Star Trek captain

Personally, Archer is my favorite Captain. His is the strongest moral compass in the franchise, and it needs to be, because he has no rule book except for the one he's writing. He's not a perfect man, or even a perfect Captain, but his clear mind and open heart make him the best of what...

Will TOS maintain its legendary status as Trek fandom gets younger?

I don't understand this preoccupation nerds have with saying something new "ruined" something old. You understand that you can just watch TOS and not anything else, right? Whatever retcons made to the show you love in future movies and spin offs don't really apply when you're watching the...
