Don't know if they're truly related or just riding the name but Film Threat was an actual print magazine at one time.

I would bet it would be the same in the actual comic books themselves as well. Not that it actually dismisses the point being made but I think if they get close enough most people give it a pass or are watching casually enough to not notice.

I don't understand what you're saying, there was the New Adventures in 1990, the Cartoon Network show in 2002 and the recent revival on Netflix. Regardless, the news of starting with the character on Earth does make me wince.
