Well, on occasion I try and be a lady... and conform to the strictures of the poll. But not today.
Bruce Greenwood definitely makes my heart go pitty pitty pow! But dear gorgeous Karl is a close second.
Way back in the days of TOS, it was Scotty and McCoy that fueled my naughty teen girl...
I hate to throw more wood on what is already a blazing fire, but...
You do know you can get photos printed on pillowcases? Or on a throw blanket?

I know it's been awhile since this earring thing was obsessed over, but I've been keeping a lookout on the Alexis Bittar website to see if Uhura's ever popped up. Well, they apparently just put up their new collections, and lo and behold, there be the earrings there...
There's good news, and there's bad news.
The good news: Based on the one picture from IMDB, if he's not naked, he is definitely not overdressed.;)
The bad news: it appears to only be available on VHS, which the picspammer owns, and is having converted to DVD. Bless her obsessed little...
I admit that if I had gotten a look at him when he was younger, I would've had to have worn a neck brace for a month. Whiplash from my head snapping around to stare and drool you know.
But I've always liked men with a little mileage, and some guys really do grow into their looks. So these days...
Today is his birthday. His 53rd birthday.
Looking like he does at 53 is just freaking marvelous. But at 25, he was just way too pretty to play Kirk.
BTW, I feel it my duty to pimp one of my favorite bad habits.

This is germane to the topic of this...
With the recent box office results showing ticket sales of approximately 254 million dollars, I think they may be smart enough to realize that they just started the Star Trek gravy train rolling again. I see no evidence to support any contention that the viewing audience is bored, or will be...
The major difficulty appears to be, that in order for the new Trek to be different in a sufficiently non-boring, non-sexy, non-gay, non-drug using(hey alcohol's a drug- no blatant bar scenes I presume- and there goes Scotty and McCoy's drug of choice) sort of way...
It wouldn't be Star Trek...
I'm with you guys and gals. Some of their choices are :vulcan:. I'm not going to pick on any particular selection, because I'm sure he'd be someone's favorite kink. But even ignoring the rest of the men of Trek... no Jamie Bamber? I have to ask, do they just have a list of actors for each month...
James Bond, let's see what we have without ANY visual evidence...
Pussy Galore
Honey Ryder
Plenty O'Toole
Holly Goodhead
Gee whiz, I remember Altaira in her birthday suit, discussing "biology" with Commander Adams- sometime in the 50's- in a micro-mini.
I believe there's a movie out now for...
Pshaw. The real temporal incursion happened in City of the Edge of Forever. When MU McCoy and MU Kirk, went back and rescued- almost killed MU Edith Keeler. MU Kirk and McCoy decided that rather than put things to right, they'd rather rule the world, Nu-MU Kirk and Nu Keeler eventually becoming...
I can think of several reasons that I wouldn't take one of the youngest members of my family to see the movie. The PG-13 rating would've been the first reason.Along with:
1. The light and soundshow that was the destruction of the Kelvin.
2.The death by sharp pikey thing impalement of Badass...
Could have been worse (in a good way)...
My mom took me to see Excalibur. Now that was a fun conversation. "Mom, wouldn't having sex with a guy in full armor be uncomfortable?"
SHUT UP! (But she was laughing- and she did answer the question.:)
I love that scene too, but for a slightly different reason. I swear his eyes looked red and swollen, as though he'd either been crying, or was restraining himself from doing so. This is the guy who is convinced that space is all darkness and danger, and he just got a ringside seat to several...
Didn't bother me in the least. It's a PG movie, and I've always thought graphic violence to be far more rotten for children than very ungraphic sex. I've heard kids cry during some movies from fear. The worst I've heard over sex is something like "Mommy, what are those people doing?" Besides...
Oh lord. Janice Lester! *Facepalm*. Even as a preteen girl when I first saw that one in the early '70's... I wsh I could've gone WTF. Kirk and buds get all teary eyed that "If only the poor dear had been happy as a woman", none of this would've gone down.
She was nuts boys! A quart low. The...

God(dess), I love this board! Thanks for the advice, and I'll be PM'ing you later to pick your brains. I haven't purchased it yet. But all I had to go on was listening to the sound system at Best Buy... and the idea that Bose was a really good audio set. When I read your comment I hit The...
Maybe it's just an "outwardly" cool Vulcan asking his wife to focus her attention on something he thinks is important. And he's the ambassador from a major Federation power. A human diplomat might be more subtle (at least from a human perspective). But maybe Sarek thought he was being subtle...
I think there is a large number of us longing to throw ourselves at the screen. Filmgasma?
BTW, I think it was Jeri who commented in another thread that I was seriously invested in Trek. (Maybe it was that whole thing about the major entertainment system purchase). You know, some folks would...
