Just got this eBay find in the mail today! 2 drawings from the Star Trek: The Animated Series episode "The Survivor". Without the coloring you can see the 'underside' of the core of the body. It's almost like a ball or yard or maybe striated muscle.
It's Edoisan. Rich Handley uses that in his story and I've used it in the Star Trek: The Animated Series Supplement for Star Trek Adventures.
We're trying to avoid Triexian (which was a pointless name change) since it is mostly only used in the non-canonical New Frontier series. StarTrek.com...

My latest acquisitions are also a bit of a shameless self-promotion: the Center Seat book which has quotes from Rich and I about TAS and my Strange New Worlds cover comes out this week. I really loved doing this one--a little bit of a Kirby homage. Kirby Krackle!
Oh yes, sorry I got it from someone at NYCCC I should have moved everything to a table to take the photo! And I have no idea why there isn't any for sale. The people who make the show are confused. My guess is that the merger with Viacom is still causing some "Who's department is this?"...
My latest acquisitions: Space Checkers (as seen in TOS), 2 sketches for the derelict ship in episode 1 of TAS "Beyond the Farthest Star" which became derelict ships in "The Time Trap" and a custom made Star Trek Adventures dice holder that is shaped like a TNG era tricorder! Still need to paint...
Yup that's it! A bit of a Calvin & Hobbes 'Spaceman Spiff' homage. The first draft was much more Sunday comic strip look but something about it seemed almost unfinished or just the wrong style for the medium so I gave it a Neo-Gold Key polish. I am pretty happy with how this turned out! Next...
