There was a fanfiction I read where the Dominion opened up another wormhole a few decades after DS9 ended and invaded again. They overwhelmed the Alpha Quadrant and forced everyone to surrender. That's about the only way I could see a lot of the Alpha Quadrant states joining the Dominion.
There's something about the bridge design and specifically the captain's chair I find off-putting, in how it's kind of universal to every ship even if there are only like two other stations on a small ship. On a small ship I'd think the captain or whoever commands the ship would be working a...
I keep saying "TATV" could have been a great episode. The premise in theory is solid, it just fucked up the execution. The fixes were simple. Riker and Troi on the Titan. No holodeck and just flashbacks. Honouring NX-01's legacy and not shoehorning them into Riker's personal story. Maybe not...
It was an interesting experiment but I feel like it wasted it's potential. I wish it came back in novel form and somebody really went wild with this universe.
To answer the original question, no. But I'm not really a fan of the main story anyway. I actually prefer all shipboard stuff where they are trying to figure out how to get the ship back under control and Data is the antagonist.
Ha, maybe! Is that what they're called? The first time I googled the author her Instagram said "See you at the ripped bodice" and I wondered what that meant. This story is just like some love triangle in a New York apartment block. It's just very low key though and I love that.
