I really hope @Redgeneral is doing okay. I don't think he's been on the board since December when he mentioned health issues and expected to be back by maybe February. Does anyone know? And while he's dealing with more important stuff, perhaps we should make a point of saving these references...

Very nice! Anyone know what those game pieces were made from? I've spent years trying to figure them out. :)

    Alternative Enterprise-B?

These "Beyond the Sea of Fire" blueprints have been put on eBay, said to be from a storage unit owned by Greg Jein. Looking at them closely, they appear to be a joke, if not an outright hoax. Maybe something that was being passed around by production crew, or even something being peddled at a...

I can see them here. @Redgeneral, you're showing in even more ways that you're the best person to tackle this project and I'm thankful that you're even interested in doing it. It's a lot of work!

    3D interiors in Blender

It's really great. The angled walls and windows really are the standout feature, but all the details look great and make sense from a production-era standpoint. It would be fun if you did up a little of the outer hull and did some images from the outside looking in.

Uh, it's called a joke, people. Often facetious and digressive.

All my best in regard to your health. Thanks again for all the work and especially those prints you have been scanning. Are there going to be any more for the NX bridge or ready room? Loved looking at these and one of my big questions about the Enterprise sets has an answer...what that rubber...

I wouldn't go off the TATV version of the benches. Those were boat benches and aren't that close. The series benches were very dimensionally flat. Here's a decent profile shot. S7-closed-set-150.jpg (720×540) (trekcore.com)

Does he have pictures from then? I've already seen convincing photo-matches to both the Imgur chair and to episode screencaps. I don't think it's necessarily proven, but I'm fairly persuaded it's the real series chair.

Oh my God, it looks like the stolen/missing TNG series command chair has reappeared! It was last seen in someone's dusty apartment on the floor. I've only quickly looked at the images, but it has a lot of the correct hallmarks that even official replicas (ST7) don't have... so if not real, a...

Interesting to see a prior seating area design before they went with the reuse of Troi's couch.

Yes, it's great they shared these photos! Speaking of sickbay... There's a desk seen in Crusher's quarters in The Naked Now and Lonely Among Us that we never get a really good look at. I've wondered if it might be a reuse of McCoy's desk from the movie sickbay. Anyone have an opinion on that?
