This is my experience as well. I have a robust understanding on how treat general relativity problems. As for actually understanding modern general relativity... well, yeah. I can't really claim that. :o

I have met Professor Sergio Focardi (he was head of the Bologna section of the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics while I was doing my master's degree), and he was a polite, sweet, old man utterly convinced of his results on cold fusion.

Maybe when you start getting some real education about science instead of parroting sensationalist fluff, we will give your opinion some value.
It's kinda cute when people talk about this like there was some kind of "real" answer beyond what the producers said and what the public choose to believe.
