Close to one of the best, but not enough for a perhaps? I consider a few of the other SNW episodes better, and several TOS episodes were better. It might be in the top ten overall though. Certainly beats out any TNG, Ent, DS9, or Voy episodes.

In my view there were good and "less good" episodes in both seasons. More good in season 1 and more "less good" in season 2, so season 1 wins for me, but not by much. Not sure which episode is my favorite, too many good ones. Old Scientists* and the musical were by far the "least good"...
