I like the Generations/DS9/Voyager one the best. I like the TWOK-TUC one too. I always found the TNG one a bit basic in comparison. This was also used for the 30th Anniversary logo, and on a lot of Star Trek merchandise after that as a general franchise logo.

I grew up watching TOS (in reruns, in the 80s), but I prefered TNG. I recently did a rewatch of TOS after a long time, and I enjoyed it, but I'd still rather watch the Berman era Treks.

Those “Library Collection” trades are a good idea in theory, but they’re too small to collect everything in a reasonable amount of time. It looks like they only combine two normal trades. I foresee cancellation. Something like a Marvel epic collection would be better.

I’ve held off ordering any of these because I’ve been wait to see the next TOS/TNG/etc wave. I’d like some assurance they’re going to at least attempt to produce all of the main crews before I get on board.

I am pretty late to this thread, but the disk in the set had an error on it (I don’t recall what the issue was, I think one of the tracks was duplicate). The loose disk is the fixed version. I’m really excited about these, I hope the line goes for a long time. I’m looking forward to the complete “Enterprise” (nx-01) crew the most as they never got to them before. I’d like to see Troi in her S1 and “Encounter at Farpoint” outfits. The DS9 crew in the first contact uniforms… better...

I was excited for the “novelverse” as a change of pace, but I still prefer TOS/TNG/DS9 novels set during the series/movies. There haven’t been enough in the last few years.

Is Whoopi Goldberg still supposed to be in Season 2? I haven't heard much about that in a while.

I’m a little lost as to what you’re talking about here. The simon & schuster sale hasn’t even happened yet. I am not aware of any change with respect to the Star Trek publishing rights themselves.

The funny thing is that Chris Pine reminded me more of William Shatner in this movie than when he was playing Kirk. Maybe because he’s older now. I hope he gets to do another Star Trek movie.

This is the first time I’ve felt really excited about Star Trek since Nemesis (or maybe even the end of DS9).

My Psone is still hooked up, and all the games I have or might want are available on the PS3 anyway, so not very enticing to me. And I have a raspberry pi.
