This is the most tired criticism. There are 13 Star Trek movies. A version of the Enterprise is destroyed in 3. That leaves 10 MOVIES where the Enterprise is not destroyed. Damaged does not equal destroyed. That's like saying Spider-Man gets killed every movie because he gets punched. Stop it.

Considering the corridor in this new look at SNW, you might be onto something. Looks pretty KT-ish, except hexagonal instead of round.

That's what I'm saying. They've got to lock the cast in QUICK if they hope to be shooting by the end of the year. These things have to be designed, approved, built, lit, and ready to go.

It all comes down to marketing. Audiences won't get hyped about any movie unless the trailer blows their socks off. That's literally all it takes to make someone go from "Eh, I don't care" to "Holy shit, that looks good." This movie better have better marketing and trailers than Beyond, that's...

If that's true, and it's going forward, that means they are already knee deep in designing the 1701-A interior sets. Corridors, bridge, transporter room, etc. And then they still have to BUILD all the sets. They can do it in 10 months, but they gotta get on the ball if they are going to film...
