Are ebooks not cheaper than paperback/hardcover outside of Canada? Here they can be nearly $10 cheaper. For example, I picked up Shadows Have Offended for Kindle for $11.99, where the paperback is going for $20.40.

Interesting that Georgiou’s childhood friend San, who was briefly mentioned in the book, is seemingly figuring into this season in some way.

Loved the episode - gave it a 9. Really liked Ren; hope we see more of him later on. Discovery-A looks pretty badass. Not sure if mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but San was a childhood friend of Georgiou whom she trained with, according to the last Discovery novel Die Standing by John...

Loved it, 9/10. Badgie was hilarious. Was hoping for a Riker cameo, or at least a canon rendering of the Titan. Missed the Lethal Weapon reference, though. I'll take memberberries over sour grapes any day, but you do you.

Loved it; an easy 9. Mariner’s a delight, and everyone being super encouraging of Rutherford was really nice to see. Laughed out loud a number of times.
