Are you talking about the cut scene from Elaan of Troyus? Spock is playing the harp thing and Uhura wants to learn to play it. I think some double entendres happened.
So my theory that the Spock/Chapel scene was a flashback to happier times is in question due to the fact that she seems to be wearing an engagement/wedding ring in said scene.
