Summary : What If one of the grimmest sequences from Elfen Lied's backstory had been a 1960's episode of 'The Twilight Zone'? Meet a girl named Katy, who lives in an orphanage where she is scorned and isolated. Submitted for your approval...

I found it funny and appropriate when, during the JLU ep 'Flash And Substance', he voiced the Trickster - essentially the role that got him the Joker - but basically using his own speaking voice (More or less).
Whether it means anything, I recall seeing a shop (maybe in Sankaku Complex) that was completely devoted to LO, and to EL in particular, so who knows.
As to them checking out reviews...I tried to set up a page of review links on the Wiki, only to find a great many basically say 'a dismissable...
Well, EL has an existing fanbase who would seek it out. Plus, maybe this bill has some sort of 'grandfather' clause about sequels rather than all-new works?
Like I say, I'd like to be sure my friend hasn't been bamboozled, but since it was an 'we're thinking it over' rather than a 'we're on...
On the Elfen Lied Fansite, a fellow fan claims - and I have no reason to doubt them, but I wanted to use qualifiers nonetheless - that an Email to Mamoru Kanbe was replied to with the news of a tentative look at a second season or reboot of the anime.
According to this, he and Okamoto both...
Re: Star Wars: Why didn't we see any wreckage from the droids in Eps4
Part of the price of Vader's turning in ROTS was that Palps melt down every last battle-droid so that he would never have to hear 'Roger Roger' EVER AGAIN. It was the one point Palps couldn't find any wiggle room on, so he...
Not only did the Green Hornet Xover feature an ST guest star, but one of the eps had the same name as a TOS--and it involved the characters posing as gangsters to overcome other gangsters.
S.A. Swann's Wolfbreed; A Book Review by 'Goji' Rob Morris
In the earlier part of this past millenium, the Western Christian Church and the Eastern European states launched the Northern Crusades, this in an attempt to convert their largely pagan neighbors; in some cases, it was an also an...
Thanks, Mistral. This story served a number of purposes for the ADU, and I hope it was just canon-filled enough that its AU-ness didn't overwhelm non-ADU readers.
Premise : Someone high on the cosmic food chain believes hurting Kirk is a dream worth dying for - so long as someone else is doing the dying. Hate may make one clumsy, but it is also unrelenting.

Re: AMC and OLTL cancelled. A moment of silence for the soap opera gen
I remember when Sarah Michelle Gellar's character of Kendall came on like a hurricane, and then was toned down, I suspect because of Susan Lucci's resentment of the newcomer. At one point, I actually chose a storyline and...
The pronunciations got me because the same people who argued that the actors' ethnicity did not matter demanded that the name pronunciations be culturally correct. So what mattered and what didn't culture-wise was a floating multiple standard? What a tweest!
Shock and panic alone could likely kill someone in that situation. No matter your training, I defy even a Vulcan to keep from freaking as all that happened.
For me, this was TNG's answer to TOS's 'By Any Other Name' in terms of gruesome-by-implication fates.
Ouch---I just had a thought--maybe...
As the power left him, Spock began to feel light-headed. His extra powers had meant an effortless balance between the elements of his psyche, the knowledge he had normally and that which he chose to normally suppress. This effort was now once again costly, and he did not make it far past the...
"Captain Chekov, I bear neither the Councilor nor the Empire any ill will. I merely wish my message to go forward. All this is merely a means to an end in that regard. A bit of theater, meant to engage the masses."
Chekov thought about what his Captain would say, but the words were still...
The shuttle departed at warp-speed away from the Enterprise, looking for all the cosmos like it was leaving to get help. After a short distance, it activated a scrambler so that the hostage-takers could not tell the scrambling from the shuttle's actual residual trail. As they approached the...
THE PARENT PROBE
***MAKE YOUR CHOICE***
This was the demand of a grieving parent to the Captain Of The Enterprise.
***I WILL HAVE IT NOW***
The cold hard fact was, said grieving parent had the ability to unmake creation, at least in a very localized sense. James Kirk, by way of his...
