    Favorite Starship from the Franchise?

Can't believe some people said the Abramsverse Enterprise, talk about Stockholm Syndrome. Aesthetically I still think the Intrepid Class is one good lookin ship along with the Enterprise E and the Excelsior Class.

    New To Voyager

Yeah I don't know what the heck the writers were thinking in season 3, it's a pretty big mess of a season with absolutely *zero* direction. It's like there was a gas leak during the time they were writing that season.

    Glaring flaw

    That's Voyager for ya!
  4. You_Will_Fail

    Season 3

Agree - Season 3 was fairly mediocre and verging on damned poor until the last quarter or so starting from "Before and After" onwards. There really was a good load of crap in season 3 - "Coda", "Flashback", "False Profits", "The Q and the Grey", "Rise" etc etc. Season 3 was the point where I was...

    Course: Oblivion

Are you kidding? "Demon" is one of the most abysmal episodes in all of Star Trek, "Course: Oblivion" actually managed to do something really special out of it is amazing. While I found the execution of the episode fairly average, the concept really elevates it to one of the most memorable...

    Mulgrew lends voice to geo-centrism?

Don't pretend this isn't a totally different situation. One doesn't really have strong "beliefs" about cars, this is clearly a belief-driven documentary and being willing to voice it sends out a message. It'd be naive to think otherwise.
  7. You_Will_Fail

What if Garrett Wang had left Voyager instead of Jennifer Lien?

We would have been spared more crappy Garrett Wang "acting" and been given a potentially fantastic character dynamic between Kes and Seven.
  8. You_Will_Fail

    Changes begining with 3rd Season

Season 3 is one of the best achievements of Star Trek.
  9. You_Will_Fail

    I Don't Understand Enterprise Vulcans.

No, not being able to articulate your reasons makes you an idiot. Leaving thread now...
  10. You_Will_Fail

Voyager again, for the first time

The scene with the timewave passing over the bridge and changing it is one of the best visuals in trek. Love YoH.
  11. You_Will_Fail

D'deridex class Warbird vs Galaxy class

Just look at the beak of the D'deridex and the back, clearly more interior space than a galaxy glass, thing is HUGE
  12. You_Will_Fail

    Before & After

That's totally backwards. No matter how much you try and think about it, the only reason Kes's warning isn't referenced is because the writer's couldn't be bothered dealing with. Personally, I feel it would have been easy and the scene could have been awesome. They hear the name Krenim and...

    The Fight: worst episode ever?

Erm, Fury irreparably changes the events of the first 3 seasons.
  14. You_Will_Fail

    Voyager Essentials Collection

Future's End is crapola imo. Anyway, a lot of people get burned out on Voyager season 5. It's good to take a break and then come back like Admiral_Screed did in his awesome watch thread, take a while to reflect on what is good about Voyager and Star Trek in general. An absence from the show...

    The Fight: worst episode ever?

Fury was an absolute travesty but at least it was watchable in places. The Fight on the other hand makes me want to cry out of frustration just watching it, it was so unbelievably boring and confusing and awful and terrible. Truly the worst trek ever
  16. You_Will_Fail

Worst example of Voyager ruining an opportunity to return home

Well to be fair, the alternate crew in Course Oblivion was using an "enhanced warp drive“, it wasn't slipstream drive.
  17. You_Will_Fail

    Voyager Essentials Collection

OP, you clearly have no grasp of which of Voyager's episodes are filler and which aren't (although you could argue all are..)

So Bajor made one of it's moons uninhabitable for some energy

Committing suicide is different from a government decision that leads to civilian death/suffering.

    Who Is This Guy??

Pretty sure he was in Enterprise too..

Gah, I wish I was back in the UK for this!
