"Dominion" Any season three episode just blows the rest of these out of the water.

"Et in Arcadia Ego 1" again. Season 1 is my favourite, and this sets up a good finale.

...of a scoop of bland vanilla ice cream.
I did a proposed DS9 Season 8 that did some of these things. Most notable was Section 31 and the Dominion's equivalent joining forces, allowing Sloan to return as well. You can't have too much of an actor who managed to steal scenes from acting legends...
48 hours have passed, so "Disengage" is saved.
New round.
Voting for "Dominion". I like the episode, and no season 3 episode should win Most Disliked of PICARD.

...during the first half of the series, it's been about keeping the peace in the Alpha Quadrant while preparing for a possible war with the Dominion that they still hope to avoid.
Babylon 5 has the Earth-Minbari War in its recent history, and the Narn-Centauri War even further back, but it also...
...gained the Enterprise's new secondary hull. While the actual ship undoubtedly had a distinguished career, and likely saw action in the Dominion War, it will live on as part of the Enterprise legacy. In fact the entire Galaxy class itself will live on as part of her legacy as well.
The last...
I think the Romulans more became the default bad guys, with the Cardassians and Dominion as backup. The Klingons... well, they tried it, but the writers decided they were better as allies.
"Et in Arcadia Ego 1" as I think it is under appreciated.

"Disengage" This is a fantastic episode. I'm not sure I have any complaints about it at all.

Without question, season 3 is the best season. So which do I vote to save first?
"Disengage" is my first vote.

"Dominion" wins season 3.
In fact, the winner and runner up is exactly the same as the 2023 game.
Thank you all for playing! I wilk start the Finals very shortly. Hope to see you all there!
...could have showed up in the last DS9 episode. We could also have got some information about what the Enterprise was doimng during the Dominion War. Strange that no one has written a book about what the Enterprise was doing during the war.
I agree about all that.
It gave me a sort of "Soviet...
"Dominion" was slightly disappointing, in that the prior episode got me so excited for all TNG characters being back on the board, and then in this ep we are again missing Worf, Troi, and (real) Riker. So I'll save "Disengage" for not having that letdown aspect and make "Dominion" the winner...
...were certainly a bit of a nuisance, but at that time conflicts were isolated to the border regions of the two powers. The Borg and the Dominion were decades away. It would be only natural for Picard to hold that kind of conceit about the organization that he served (some might even say that...
...of the big-D is spectacular and fits in so beautifully with canonical references and thought behind the Prime Directive. The Borg takeover is highly effective. Not completely keen on the odd pairing of Dominion and Borg overall, but it doesn't not work...
What's left:
"Disengage"
"Dominion"
Saving "No Win Scenario".
Shaw's Wolf 359 survival story was damn good acting by Todd Stashwick. Haunting and excellent.
Plus, the nebula actually giving birth was such a STAR TREK thing. It was fantastic.
Another directing win for Frakes.
