I think they missed a chance to show other Lower Deckers complaining and goofing off at the end of the series.

Short Treks, season 1 has the best of Discovery in it: Dora, Tilly, Saru, Harry Mudd, Georgiou the good.

Not sure if I've posted in this thread yet. At the time, I think I thought it was okay. Bummed Enterprise was cancelled. But if they hadn't made the series finale a holodeck TNG episode, it'd have worked... sorta better. Trip dying was unnecessary. The episode should've been double-length...

Finally saw Siskel and Ebert's Trek movie reviews. I really enjoyed them, and it reminded me why I think the OG movies more succinctly encapsulate what's best about TOS than the series the movies are inspired by.
