I am very old school, so I just can never invest in streaming ratings. I am from the days of the 90s or early 2000s were Friends averaged 24 million viewers every night or 70 million people watched the Seinfeld finale.
Which reminds me I think the first TNG episode in the late 80s was watched...
we can agree to disagree but what is done is done.
However if we get a year one, which I doubt we will since SNW is barely surviving in ratings and paramount cannot even make 10 episodes for season 5, they would need a stronger cast with memorable actors and that would mean casting first...
Bantam Books did it twice with ''The Procrustean Petard'' and Alan Dean Foster's expanded ''Slaver Weapon'' adaptation. ''Petard'' at any rate was a fanzine reprint, and Foster's switcheroo of Spock and Uhura may have been Ballantine rather than Bantam. (STAR TREK LOG 10).
The attitude toward women in Yamato strikes me as that of a 1950s person who believes himself to be enlightened and egalitarian. They aren't locked away in the kitchen, but they aren't on equal terms with men either.
Practically until 3199, we have never seen a woman among the top brass, (and...

"We have arrived at grid section 97-B, Commander."
Beaumont looked up from her data slate, where she had been reviewing the data they had already collected from a dozen search sites. So far, none of them had yielded anything more noteworthy...
...public would probably have the best chance of having at least being aware of. I'm not sure if it was when the show was getting the biggest ratings, but it did seem to be when the show was getting the most attention.
I'm not sure if that would be the best way to go about it, thanks to things...
The concept unfortunately doesn’t work for me. We’re told back in “Dax” that Jadzia Dax would remember doing what Curzon Dax did and how he felt about it. In “Facets” we learn that Curzon Dax was in love with Jadzia, that’s why he did what he did, and Jadzia Dax never knew it until her...
FACETS rates a save for Joran Sisko and Curzon Odo alone.
"THE ABANDONED"
"MERIDIAN"
"HEART OF STONE"
"DESTINY"
"PROPHET MOTIVE"
"DISTANT VOICES"
"THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS"
"SHAKAAR"
"Sanctuary" rates a save for its insights on welcoming the immigrant, misinterpreted prophecies, and the tragedy of misunderstanding on the battlefield. Heavy stuff.
"MELORA"
"RULES OF ACQUISITION"
"SECOND SIGHT"
"RIVALS"
"THE ALTERNATE"
"PLAYING GOD"
"PROFIT AND LOSS"
Not being in the top ten is not "poor." And what you "think" is going on behind the scenes doesn't even rise to the level of uninformed guesswork; it's trivial, schadenfreude-laced fantasy.
Just one drawing this week as I'm working on completing the draft for EVA-Trek episode 306 this weekend. Trying to get to a place where I've got all 11 episodes' first draft scripts done before the end of the year. If I can keep up a rate of finishing two scripts a month, I'll be in good...
2008 to 2013 is only five years. An extra five years would not magically make WB start putting out movies at the same rate that the MCU does.
There are only 15 films in the entire DCEU (ignoring alternate cuts, anyway), released over ten years. Marvel is up to 37 (and a ton of in-universe...
It's public perception. Having the logo there has created this perception of lesser quality for many years. Getting rid of it is worth a try to change that.
I rethought what I had previously said
But at the same time, they've had plenty of high-quality television series and films. Is their success rate any different from any other streaming service?
Yes I think they fell outside the Top 10 of the Nielson ratings after the Holodeck episode and didn't recover. That episode was the worst of the season for me so I think that reaction was well deserved. I doubt that they'll reshoot though. That would be so expensive and the episodes are already...
...score are bad, they have dropped each season and right now season 3 is a splat at 52% it will go below 50 by christmas 2025.
Also the ratings for season 3 have been poor, they fell on nielsen scan rating on episode 4 and never returned.I think there are some heavy talks going on behind the...
...Korby. She does seem to be someone who throw herself into new adventures and travelling due to a bit of pain and PTSD.
I have no idea how ratings and sentiment are tracked. The reviewers have delivered much more notably negative reviews of this season and acknowledgements that the quality...
