I really miss the show, I have yet to get the DVD's. I really wanted a VOY movie. :(

I'd be happy with a decent Voy novel or short story collection on a regular basis, whether it was set post Endgame or during the series. I'd be thrilled to see a mini-series that would involve all three of the contemporary shows (TNG, DS9, VOY), even if it didn't include all of the casts of each series.

    Something. Anything!

Who cares about TOS prequels? :scream:

No kidding - why do we have to go backwards? I realize "they" are trying to reboot Star Trek but really, why go to the past?

It would have been nice to have the movie about a special ops team doing a secret mission (probably something to do with a Jem Hadar rebellion).
This team would include Seven of Nine, Kira, O'Brian, The Doctor. With Picard leading of course. Perhaps Nog, Garak, Wesley Crusher, and Admiral Janeway could have roles as well.

Well, if they did decide to bring VOY back as a series, it would probably be with a whole new crew and maybe a cameo or two by some of the original cast.

I don't think we'll ever see a Voy movie in any shape or format, sadly. I wouldn't mind so much if the Voyager books were more regular, but I'm gagging for new ones and have been for ages. It's been said before, but it bears saying again ; thank goodness for fan fic! :)

I suppose it boils down to the fact that Paramount wants to make money from this movie, and for non-fans the words "Star Trek" usually mean Kirk and Spock. So going back makes sense in that context. I'm going to reserve judgement until I know a lot more about the movie, anyway.

As for Voyager...yeah, I miss it. It would be nice to see some decent books at least, but that doesn't seem likely any time soon. Unfortunately.

^^^ I personally believe the "going back to TOS" is getting way old as well. We got it - people know who Kirk & Spock are - big surprise. Now can we find out what happens AFTER DS9 & Voyager???

It's not like you ever wondered "Oh my gosh, is the Klingon race gonna get wiped out in Enterprise?!?!"

I agree, it took away a lot of the fun from Enterprise. And the lesser technology in Ent was a disappointment as well. Lets see what happens in the future instead!

I missed the show too........but I'm not sure if Paramount is ready to make a movie from just the Voyager series. I would like to see a movie with TNG, DS9, and Voyager cast together. :vulcan:
