i managed to get mine done today, but it needs proofing...

I've been following the challenges for a while, but haven't felt confident about participating until now.

More Than Meets The Optics

 

Ok, there hasn't been a good fight in my series for awhile, so I'll enter a submission.

 

To clarify things, I was a bit extreme in deleting my responses.

For now I'm trying to find some decent idea that can fit the conditions of the challenge and not have the story be incomprehensible as the other three trials.
