    Yes, please. :D

Seriously, some of these characters in he "most heinous" list propagate and follow ideologies on behalf of their kind. I can't condemn this as truly "heinous" although it is obviously at the expense of others.

Parmen and company however strike me like kids who enjoy to tear of wings and legs of insects just for the sadistic fun of it. If that isn't "heinous" I don't know what is.

For me Soran comes in second place. Just to get back into the virtual reality of the Nexus he is willing to sacrifice millions. What a jerk!

    ^I can agree with that.

Looks like Dukat's taking the lead. That just leaves Seska and Alexander Marcus at 0, the confused and the despicable (respectively).

This is along the lines what I tried to express earlier. The Borg never "wanted" to take away our humanity (that would have only been the inevitable outcome of the assimiliation).

I remember reading or hearing that the Borg actually had the best of intentions (from their point of view) and were certain that they were actually improving the living conditions of every one they assimilated (okay, at least before the "arrival" of the Queen Bee and the alteration of the original Borg premise).

Just shows again that good intentions don't necesarily yield a good outcome. ;)

Anyone willing to put their name on Seska being the most heinous Star Trek villain or will she be forever at zero?

LOL, I remember that, as a kid, I absolutely hating Saul Rubinek precisely because of how well he played that role. It got to the point where anytime I saw him in anything else, I'd instantly associate him with Kivas Fajo and then instantly dislike whatever character that Rubinek would be playing, no matter how "good" they were. It's ironic that, at the time, I hated his character in "Unforgiven!" :)

Of course, a couple years later I learned how to separate the actor from the charactor, but to make an indelible impression on the audience is a very real skill.

why insidious? He wasn't particularly clever, just a power-hungry bully who by the end, wasn't even torturing Picard for info, he was just doing it to dominate and humiliate him.

And I'm glad that you agree with me on Phlox.:techman:

I voted for Kahn nutrek, The Sphere Builders and Dukat. The Sphere Builders were so mysterious, that is why i enjoyed them :), and destroying an entire region of space for there own good is just not okay. Dukat went from being a simple cardassian enemy to the on of the greatest trek characters ever. The best thing about him was that he actually thought he was helping the bajoran people. Khan nutrek is maybe not the Heinous character in Star Trek but he was very morally screwed up, if the enterprise crew didnt contain him so good he could be capable of anything. + he doesnt have such a bad haircut as Khan in T.W.O.K.

Personally, I think the original Khan and NuTrek Khan are way too different to compare as characters. And although I loved the original Khan, and was way more human than the NuTrek, the NuTrek Khan was just more intimidating.

Gul Dukat is (of course) winning :D

    What will be his prize?

Dukat: I don't want for much, only the love of the Bajoran people..

How is Armus beating Soran? You'd have to go to Armus for him to do anything to you. Soran helped destroy the Enterprise D.
