    Here ye, here ye!

T'is my honor to present to you, the honorable producer, Mistar Mike Sussman , the (co)writer of this season's best episode - Catwalk!

Just like Mistar Goodman (Uh huh, a second '~man' in a row too), he's the real deal folks. I believe in our Admin's abilities to verify such a personality and granted them the ubiquitious gold letterings.

So where were his posts? I'd found one (out of two, at the time of this writing) in 23skidoo's thread titled Catch the reference challenge in Catwalk (minor spoiler) . My challenge is for you to find his other post, yep.

Feel free to go visit that thread again for a little hello. I've already corrected his misspelling in there (first come first served yanno) so there's no need to rib him further, right? [IMG]

Perhaps he'll bring Phyllis Strong to this board too later on. IMHO, methinks this is a coordinated attempt by UPN to get the show makers closer to us and use us as Guinea Pig's to grade their wares. Kewl. [IMG]

Ironically, just when the board's getting ratty we have guests. *decides to petition for a better couch, sorta like Bucky's Trip Salon couch* Well, welcome, folks, and don't let the pootyheads bug you. [IMG]

maybe not the best but one of the best episodes,,

    loved the crew interaction
that archer acted like he had brains and so did trip
liked the references to the past trek but wish there was some continunity with this seasons.
we know have four episodes that dont try to reference what happened in previous episodes even though each one has some interesting unanswered questions.

i wonder if that will be the new norm unlike minefield and deadstop.

Well, me was just hyperb, err, embellishing a little back there.

Among the several things I liked about this episode was the depiction of all those crews. Some of them even got lines! Now I wonder why they don't bother with such extravagance before? Too much money? Think of the extra ratings dudes (to B&B, especially). Make it look like a really busy ship and not a ghost ship. People will gobble them up like chum! [IMG]

Jumping Jehosaphat! Sussman's a real TAS guy huh? Looks like he's been lurking here for several hours too. Nobody even noticed his gold letterings in that thread (perhaps he wasn't given that rank yet).

What ya win? How about some hugs and kisses? I know how ya swung bro. [IMG] [IMG]

^I reserved the best rewards for you hon. [IMG] Me know quite well that unca Sam is just as straight as I am (or slightly crooked, but that's another topic ...)

Yes, Mr. Sussman. We are all deprived and slightly insane and proud of it too. [IMG]

This is extremely encouraging. Between all the celebrities on the BBS, the possibilities of tholians in ENT, and the success of The Catwalk, things may be looking up for our little ship.

Welcome, celebrities! Please accept our humble welcome, and don't let our constant bitching phase you - we all want Trek to suceed [IMG]

    Interesting times, indeed.

Mike Sussman is one of the better writers on the staff. He did bring us Dead Stop this season, and he knows his Trek. Hopefully he'll take some of the good suggestions on this board to improve the show.

Sneaking around The Reservation, eh Sam? Just be careful with your Kirk and Spock references! [IMG]

And welcome to Mike Sussman. Lots of good ideas floating around here, both good and bad. Hope interacting, even a bit, with some vocal core fans is positive thing for you!

I guess it's the writing staff's way of letting us know they actually care about the fans.

I've noticed that many genre shows are now in direct communications with their fanbase, so I'm glad it finally hit Star Trek.

Welcome to the pit Mr. Sussman. The Catwalk was a really terrific episode, IMHO the best since Dead Stop! It was wonderful to see Archer portrayed as a strong Captain and concerned leader.

Thanks for stopping by and for your great work on Enterprise. I love the series and would dearly love to see it regain not only the good ratings it deserves, but also the esteem and loyalty of the long-time Trek fans.
