I'm not happy about that at all.

Also can we vote to make Timothy the Donnie ("Big Lebowski") of this thread?

I think in such a vote that it's worth noting that he's the OP...

    But yeah, I'll second that.

I'm trying to wrap my head around Sheamus' "de-push"... give him a US Title run and have him dominate most guys he comes across? I mean jeez, if thats a de-push, I think DBD needs a de-push ASAP.

I saw various clips of Raw last night (Mainly the Rock Bits) and it looked like a decent show. Unfortunately, I see what they're doing and wonder where is everything going. Maybe this is a downfall of having a pay per view every month, but I don't see anything awe inspiring they are setting up other than something that won't happen for another 9 months or so. R-Truth vs. Morrison? Um, ok, but a little boring so far. Cole and Lawler? Man will this storyline never end? I did like seeing this "Kharma" try to bring some life to the Diva's program so maybe that might be good, but then again when Trish and Lita Left, it seemed like so did the whole Diva's thing. No one else really has stepped up.

It seems to me that the WWE is putting all their Eggs into the Wrestlemania basket, yet shouldn't they be setting up for their second biggest pay per view of the year, Summerslam? Yeah I know it's not until August, but things should be starting to plant and give time for the storylines to develop.

Also, I was wondering why Austin didn't show up at the Rock Birthday Party. Apparently he was at the whole up fronts thing, but it would have been nice to get something from him since the Rock and Austin were arguably the two top stars of the Attitude era at the time.

I hate when a wrestler I like is reduced to a paper/transitional champion. They did the same thing to Chris Jericho, even after he did an awesome rant (helped by Heyman) to Austin and The Rock about it. The winner of The Rock vs. Jericho was going to face Austin for the title and The Rock and Austin were already talking back and forth at each other as if it was already a foregone conclusion that they were going to have a match.

I was disappointed that when Jericho didn't mention this bit in his book. He yelled, "YOU WILL NOT LOOK PAST ME!" and cut what I consider the best serious promo of his career. Speaking of looking past, can you guys take a break from glossing over my posts and if you're going to ignore the rest, at least answer one question from my questions/comments RAW post? I'm still dying to know, was Awesome Kong always such a fatass?

No, shes a Diva now, she's Smart, Sexy, and Powerful. ®

btw, something just occoured to me. When exactly did Chris Benoit become Voldemort? Don't all say "The weekend he died" at once. I mean we all refer to him as 'He who should not be named' or 'You know who...' it just strikes me as messed up.

Yes Kong was always big boned, fat is such a bad term to use with a lady. As far as wrestlers getting glossed over, well that happens all the time. Just depends on who Vince likes.

The spoiler that Jetfire posted is indeed true and the crowd was hot for the match big time according to the spoiler description I was reading. It's being speculated that Christian is injured and has been so for a while now.

I think it's just a joke people are making on the fact that Vince and co. have tried to erase him from their history...just like Thought Police! I've been waiting a long time for TNA to change their name. I hated the change to World Wrestling Entertainment and I hate the change to just 'WWE' meaning nothing even more, but I can accept them. The name TNA is so lame, though, I can't even say it out loud without cringing. That company has needed a name change badly ever since its birth.

For years I've been quietly hoping someday ROH invades TNA nWo-style, but this time the outsiders win the battle between two companies. As a result, the invaded company's name gets permanently changed to 'Ring of Honor' (currently the coolest name for a company in the wrestling business). It'll never happen, but a man can dream.

Impact Wrestling is...meh but yeah something i reported on here a few weeks back. They're really trying to market the brand around their tv show.

@timothy I stated that it's rumored that Christian is injured...not confirmed yet but if he's already dropped the title then it's a good bet that he is. No idea when it happened and what did I say earlier with the "s'mark" stuff? Why assume that Del Rio did it? Sigh.

Also except WWE to start blurring out WWF on all their old broadcasts, there was a clip from Raw that blurred out the WWF logo on a mic. This is part of the effort of the name change.

They've already been doing that for years, ever since the name was changed to "World Wrestling Entertainment". It's annoying as hell when you're watching old matches on newer DVD releases and you see blurs on not only the mics, but also the ring apron (which would have a huge "WWF" logo on it) and any part of a RAW or PPV set that has "WWF" on it. They even cut out audio on the "F" if someone cuts a promo in which they say, "WWF". You can see all of this nonsense on the 2009 Chris Jericho DVD.

Yeah it's just this time was really blatant and on Raw and something that was already on my conscience due to the planned name change. I've not noticed it before in the past. Oh I remember now. They blurred out the image of the mic during Lillian singing the anthem during the post 9/11 Raw.

They had a pretty appropriate intro actually, with someone who had a personal experience with terrorism.

Next week, though, has a few shocks...

It's been blatant for a long time now. There was a Best of Raw (or some such) DVD out seven or so years ago which had blurring and beeping everywhere.

    Forgot to mention that
Joanie Launer AKA Chyna will be making her TNA debut in the next few weeks. This is who will be Kurt's mistress/business partner and will be probably booked in a mix tag team match at Sacrifice.

    Okay I used spoilers.

Don't expect to see HHH back any time soon. According to this interview Trips will be used in "emergency" cases (i.e. similar to the UT/HHH match when the WWE needs to fill in a gap). Interesting. It seems like he's winding down and moving on and looking forward to his new duties.

That's kind of a shame. I think Triple H came back quite strong from those couple of dismal (from when he was given the WHC on Raw to around the time he lost the title to Benoit) years he had. I enjoy seeing him on TV, but I can appreciate why he would want to start winding down. Limiting himself to big matches will likely enable him to extend his career for however long he wants.

I don't intentionally ignore anyone, Too Much Fun. I'm sorry if it came across that way.

Apparently Orton has been Re-tweeting negative comments sent to him on Twitter. That's kind of funny. The backlash for that has been impressive. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes of it (I doubt it).

Chris Benoit will always be one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I'll never be able to separate him from the tragedy that destroyed him and the lives of two innocent people, but I can still watch his matches and appreciate that he was one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step in the ring. It's just tragic that his life had to end like that, and the collateral damage of his psychological state (from a variety of factors) had to claim other lives, too. The story of Chris Benoit should be one of a man who overcame staggering odds and expectations in his industry to be a success. It should not be what it is and unfortunately what it will always be.

The WWF-WWE did actually bug the shit out of me. At this point? I've learned it doesn't really matter.

the TNA thing always, always drove me nuts though. I love that they're dropping it. Way back when I used to just call it the NWA.
