Indeed, I've been waiting for you guys for some time and it's great to see some payoff at last. Decent so far, some typical fan production hiccups but stuff that can be ironed out thorugh time if you stick to it. I'm always happy to see some TOS movie era stuff, love the uniforms, production design and everything!

I know you're not looking to eliminate it, but your regional accents certainly do add a certain charm that we would otherwise never get in an official production. Same thing for Intrepid, really.

Now, if only we could get a Canadian production where people wouldn't be laughing aboot our accents, eh?

Most Canadian productions are comedies, or include comedic intent... what makes you think it's the accents they are laughing at?

    Star Track
    Star Track: The Metric System
    Comedic mix: Chains of Betrayal.

    Yeah, I'm missing a few...

I'm a professional comedian in Calgary. Our TV comedies aren't much to laugh at, IMO. Our more sucessful shows of late were about a gas station and a mosque in the middle of nowhere, Saskatchewan. A slightly more chuckleworthy one was about a curling team in the middle of nowhere, Ontario. Not much of it is easily exportable, if you ask me. :P

Canadian strength in drama is our offering a great place for other people to come and film theirs, unfortunately...

Will have to see how this develops.
I was looking forward to this from all the waves it was making (e.g., 3D artwork in various forums), but jumping straight to a space battle is a big turn-off for me.

But it's nice to see more exploration of the TMP era instead of TOS. Don't take this wrong, I absolutely love Farragut, but the era gets old if a ton of groups is all doing shows in that era.

This one is entertaining so far. Hopefully there is something more to this mystery than people shooting at each other.

As I watched Star Trek, I always wondered . . . . so General Chang's bird of prey had a prototype cloak that allowed it to cloak and fire at the same time. Okay, so it got destroyed. The research that allowed its construction wasn't all destroyed. Even if the cloak was a hand made prototype, there have to be scientists and engineers who worked on it who would build another given enough money and resources. Especially given the combative nature of the Klingons and Romulans.

And anytime I see the movie era uniforms, my heart flutters in a good way.
