Both Connor Trinneer and John Billingsley are scheduled to appear on "The Mentalist" on CBS next Thursday November 18th, 2010 at 10:00 PM eastern time.

Connor plays Deputy Woolgar, a rednecek cop, and John Billingsley, plays Ellis Mars a geeky psychic who claims the killers is affected by the moon.

I normally don't watch this series (I don't like it) but I will tune in to this episode to show support for our favorite chief engineer and ship doctor.

Tv Guide magazine has a short interview with Simon Baker he directed Red Moon and gave high praise to Connor and John Billingsley.I don't watch the Mentalist either but I want to see Connor and John working together again so I plan on watching it next week.

Nice to have some Micheal pictures.Only one more day before we get to see The Menatlist. I got the Entertainment weekly magazine they had a review for RedMoon and gave it an A+ It mentions John playing a loopy psychic character.

Connor's hair is SO DARK!! in The Mentalist. I kinda like it. Wish his role was a little bigger. Jeez, most of his lines range from 2 to 4 words.
John is hilarious in this. I never would have guessed he could run that fast!

Yeah, he's not blonde (Connor)! John was great. I do have a question, though... what the heck did the killer say at the end of the episode that unsettled Patrick so much? I rewound it a couple of times but it just sounds like a slurred whisper to me.

ETA: Nevermind. I googled. It was "Tiger, Tiger"... which relates to something Red John has said.

I agree with you, jinx. But it's far better than his "the Closer" guest spot. (well nothing can be worse ;))

:scream: This man needs his own show!!! :scream:

    *sigh*

Thank you for the screencaps, frenchman.

They kept describing his character as a redneck cop... so I expected him to be... I don't know. I was glad that his character was pretty down to earth. Being from California myself, (and having lived all over that state), I think it's weird whenever any show has a small town in that state talking Southern-esque -- especially very pronounced, like the waitress on the episode. Maybe things have changed since I lived there, but I don't remember small town people talking like they're from Texas. (Same in Oregon -- where I lived for many years... small town folk don't talk with a southern accent there either, unless they are transplanted from the South. Heck, I'm in a small town in Arizona for the moment and people don't talk with that accent either!) I don't know why in shows and film small town always equals this accent.

It was really nice to see Connor again playing a sheriff deputy he sure had dark hair it was nice to see him have serval scenes with John Billingsley. That scene with John wearing those infrared googles reminds of those Ufo or ghost hunter shows on the scifi channel. I didn't know John could run so fast.:rommie:
It was nice to see 2 Enterprise actors getting to work together .Frenchman thanks for the Gonnor screencaps.

    You googled it?

ETA: My original gripe was based on early scenes. I was so happy to see he later had something to do with working the crime. :)

JiNX -- Yep. Totally googled. It was funny because I found it on Yahoo answers and two different people had answered already even though the episode had barely finished airing.

Yes, I was glad to see his character playing a more active role in solving the crime too. At first it seemed more like a cameo appearance than anything. Glad they gave him something more to do.

I seriously, seriously want him to do lots and lots more work, though. I know, I know. I'm preaching to the choir. :p
