Well, I would sooner die than watch that movie (unless accompanied by Rifftrax commentary.)

Officer #1: What are the odds that an unaccompanied male would willingly pay to see Twilight?
    Officer #2: ... Good God!
Officer #1: Looks like this death ... *puts shades on* ... has bite.

Nah, he probably just ate the "popcorn", that stuff's enough to kill anyone.

That's really awful. How'd you like your body found by a the cleaning guy, long after anyone could have helped?

    My condolences to his family.

    That's really sad to hear.

Twilight was playing on tv today so I put it on, but could only stand it for a few minutes. God, it is the cheesiest, sappiest thing I've ever witnessed. And a completely unrealistic portrayal of teenagers, which is hard to do considering how stereotypical they can act sometimes. I went on to Wikipedia and read the plot summaries and couldn't help but laugh my ass off at the ridiculousness of it. I can see how death would result.

Why did the reporter feel the need to give a synopsis of the movie ?

I thought this franchise was bad enough given that a number of states are considering using it as a means of chemical castration, but now it's killing people ?

This would seem to be fairly accurate too.

I saw it with a friend Friday night and am convinced only adults should be permitted to watch it. Scholars will study this movie long from now and it will affirm that we really do live in The Stupid Ages.

Though us males and most intelligent females will not have seen this movie, there is a disturbing attempt to inflict its nonsensical message upon us by stealth.

There's a car advert airing here with some bloke waffling on about feeling 'desired', 'loved' and 'missed' over shots from the film. I am not sure what any of this has to do with the car they're trying to sell.

I really wish they'd air a certain advertisement with Pele straight after it. It might make these girls realise what's really going on with Edward. ;)

Hmmmm. So, the women in that photo are obsessed with a guy who refuses to have sex with his girlfriend ?

It's weird, it's like reverse humiliatrix porn.

Offhand I'd say it has something to do with his bridling of both masculine and feminine desire, i.e. exercising control over both himself and her (in a psychologically 'safe' way) thereby demonstrating his chivalrous nature and the extent of his commitment to her. If he's the one turning down sex then he must be into her for her mind.

I'm waaaay to cynical for this, he's 109 years old (according to Wikipedia) - some pretty important stuff stops working by the time you get to that age.

Forget the age. If he's a vampire, surely he has no blood pumping round his body, so unless he carries some kind of splint around with him, he's gonna be needing a chat with Pele.

    My thoughts exactly.

Either that, or some women just get off on being told 'no'.

Great. I did not need to be thinking about that as I go to sleep.
