Rom, hands down. After the browbeating that Quark has been giving him his entire life, I think he would just snap, rip off that butthead covering, and shove it down his brothers throat-sideways-

Mmmm... Depends... old Uhura doesn't seem like she'd be much of a fighter, but new Uhura seems like she might be able to kick some ass... But then first season Troi also seemed like she couldn't do much fighting, but in later seasons and the movies seemed like she might do better... but new Uhura seems like she still could kick more ass than later season Deanna so I guess I'll give it to her.

Lwaxana Troi, hands down. She could read Uhura's mind, so she would have a definite advantage over her. Also, she's Gene Roddenberry's wife, so I'm sure she's not to be f**k'ed with.

Lwaxanna for the win. Yes, Kai Winn is as treacherous as they come, but to me her ferocity is in the political arena...even so...Madame Troi would find a way to kick her patootey. She's i...okay, let's see....Lwaxanna vs. Kathryn Janeway....(BTW, I'm pleased to see this thread's still alive I started. Thanks, all.)

No problem Voyagerian. I have to go with Janeway on that one. She's got youth and starfleet training on her side. She doesn't strike me as someone who would give up vary easy.

Gotta go with Lanna...but hate to see my Kath get whupped up on by her...(waaah!). Plus, they're such old and good friends-bu this ain't about reality, is it?..Lanna is physically stronger, and yes, in spite of Fleet training, hand-to-hand, Kath would likely in the end lose out. Lessee...Lanna vs. Jadzia Dax...

I've got to go with Dax. Torres never really got into the whole Klingon fighting thing too much, and never really embraced her Klingon side. Jadzia has all of her former lives to fall back on. Kerzon Dax negotiated the treaty with the Klingons and spent so much time with the Klingons that he ended up with a blood feud that Jadzia ended up having to satisfy, and if you remember she kicked ass, hell she married a Klingon.

Jadzia. Tasha may have security training, but as was said, Jadzia has all her experience in other lives to fall back on, and Jadzia actually did get into Klingon fighting styles and everything. An interesting one:

    Jadzia vs Ezri. :rommie:

Now that is interesting.... They both have the same past lives and memories-with the exception that Erzi has some that Jadzia doesn't- so I think it would have to come down to personal size and strength. I'm going to have to go with Jadzia again on that one. She's physically stronger and larger than Erzi, so I think in a confrontation she would win.

BQ for the win I think. Jadzia I can see winning against another humanoid, but, from what I understand of Borg, are they not on average stronger than many species, with their enhanced physiology? And in 'Unity' the freed Borg Orem, a Romulan, spoke of a neurogenic field that could help heal organic and inorganic body parts...granted, maybe not in the middle of a fight, but...and she could merely assimilate her...oh, poor Jadzia..she does deserve far better!(Including her death on ds)

Ok I didn't see a new pair to fight, so I'll name two:

Wesley Crusher and the young Jem'Hadar that was raised on DS9.

Dax, again cause she has had more lifetimes to learn combat techniques, and even though tasha grew up fighting gangs off and was a starfleet secuirty officer, I think Jadzia could taker her....

^ That was the other page.

^^ The young Jem'Hadar. I can't see Wesley winning anything that involves muscles.

Young Jem'Hadar still wins..maybe a bit moreso, as Jake, bless him, hasn't been through Starfleet training i.e. self-defense, though he knows what war is like all too well....Jem'Hadar vs. Tholian

Are Tholians even capable of hand to hand combat? They're stuck in an environmental suit when they are in class M type places, correct? I think I'll give this one to the Jem'Hadar... mainly for lack of knowing how a Tholian would stack up against one...

    Jem'Hadar vs Hirogen...

I'll guess Hirogen. Not that it's the be-all-end-all in a hand-to hand situation-as martial arts has proven for centuries-but the DQ hunters are in general pretty big in build, and I am assuming generally stronger. They live to hunt prey, and the bigger-like Species 8472-the better. They may relay on their weapons, but you know they are trained in direct combat, and their armor would not hurt in having, assumedly made of light-but-tough material that would not slow them down in a foot pursuit or hamper a hand-to-hand...Hirogen vs. Breen...

That's probably be a tough one, but I think the Hirogen could hold out against a Breen...
