I don't think they'll ever clean out the Trek selection in the OKC store - it always seems to get bigger every time I go in.

I frequent the one in Bellevue, WA, and they always seem to have a ton of Trek books. Everytime I go in, I come out with huge armfuls of wonderfulness! My poor fiance. Three huge bookshelves later, and still nowhere near enough space!

I'm getting married in Gardland in January, at Alexandra Mansion, and will be living in Fort Worth. Guess I'm going to like shopping in the area.

I picked up the "Debt of Honor" graphic novel at HPB today, opened it up, and guess what? It's autographed by Chris Claremont. Not a bad find for 4 bucks or so.

Ah, Fort Worth. Be sure to go check out the Water Gardens, where they filmed part of Logan's Run. It's crazy to walk around out there and recognize settings from the movie.

we dont have a hpr's here but we do have this dangerous thing called mckay's.
so far i think they are only in tennessee.
so far they dont have bargain bins for their books but they do have them for dvd's and tapes.

books they dont want if the people dont want them back go into a freebie bin.

they have a pretty good selection of trek and other sf.

I love McKay's. I go into the one in Knoxville every few months and usually end up leaving with 5-10 books (mostly Trek). I recently got hold of A Stitch in Time from there and I once found three out of the four Mission Gamma books. While they do have a good selection of Trek, I find their TV/Movie tie-in selection somewhat limited.

There's a small store called Mr. K's (don't know if there's a relation between the two) in Oak Ridge that I used to frequent quite often. However, they usually only have older numbered Trek novels. After discovering McKay's I hardly ever go to Mr. K's anymore.

Yes. I went to one last night. I wish their website had an accurate inventory.

Most of my TOS books came from the HPB in Bellevue, WA. Although, their collection has shrunk over the last 10 years or so.

Love the one near us, the DVD prices are decent, and they even have laserdiscs. Their Trek selection is a little aggravating as they never seem to have the specific one in a series that I'm looking for, same with the Frank Herbert and Larry Niven stuff. They have tons of titles in those groups, just seems to be the ones I already have.
