I enjoyed how Nimoys line just totally got the SNL cast to break character.

Son of a bitch. I had it set to record, and the dvr ran out of space. Damn HD programming takes up too much space!

i absolutely agree. JJ Abrams along with the writers and producers pretty much revived the corpse that is the Star Trek film franchise.

Re: Pine & Quinto address the fans ;)

I didn't follow the link. I think everyone involved in making this movie should ignore the dissenters, not feed them.

It was part of an SNL sketch. It was fair in terms of humor value.

Not quite up to the level of the "Get a life!" sketch, but still good.

"My mailbox is full of decapitated action figures and empty inhaler canisters!"

Gotta love how NBC won't allow Canadians to watch their TV clips online.

"To not like it would make them dickheads" Nimoy, Pine, Quinto on SNL

 Seems Nimoy decided to update Shatner's "Get a life" sketch on SNL yesterday. Quinto and Pine stopped by weekend update to talk up the movie and Nimoy decided to join them. The link below has both the new sketch and the Shatner original.

    Great stuff. :techman:
