I hate to say it, but Scott in ENT looked better than Shatner on TOS did in the green wraparound.

Blueshirt all the way. I LOVE the sciences and ace cell biology (medical field) and ecosystems/space sciences (science field), not to mention that I have always fantasized about being the chief Science Officer aboard a starship... so yeah, blueshirt. Another advantage? I'm less likely to DIE. *looks at redshirts*

The new gold shirts in the Abrams timeline are similarly pretty neat looking.

Although the visible weave seems a little lo-tech

True. And the overshirt sags too low around the collar at times, taking away from the crisp, tight black collar look of the classic TOS shirts.

Robau's 2233-era uniform was nice, too. Not a classic pullover shirt but damn fine looking.

Would I get to wear a number "29" on the shirt(whichever color)to show I'm a Kevin Harvick fan?

I'd be in blue. Research based. Anthropology, but...not about humans. What's the word for the study of non-humans?!

Red, given my occupation. But I'd look a hell of a lot better in blue.
