Even Sisko was a Kirk fan, so much so that he violated the Temporal Prime Directive to meet him in 'Trials and Tribble-ations.'

That said, I think they were made of the same mettle. Different forge maybe, but the same mettle. ;)

I just can't help it that the name Sisko makes me smile. It is a Finnish word and means "sister".

    Kirk.

Who else but Kirk could guarantee 'there will be no peace as long as Kirk lives.'

And you know what? (Aside from stupid temporal anomalies)

    There wasn't.

I know that my statement is going to be purely emotional, but...

James T. Kirk is Star Trek, Star Trek is James T. Kirk

[However, let's not forget Spock as the best first officer]

I am so torn.....It was great to see Janeway, after the sexism of TOS. Then they gave us the chick in padded catsuits and high heels. But Janeway stood strong and the best. But Lord help me, Scott Bakula has to be one of the sexiest people on the planet. Can we vote for 2?

    Kirk is in 4th place????????????????????

    What a load of bollocks.

This is the problem with the young fans of today. In my day we only had a Kirk and Spock and nothing but a horseshit sandwich on the table to eat, but we made do and damn it was good!
