I've been looking for strictly behind the scenes production pics from TOS and have come across a series by Creation Conventions known as Star Trek Photo Club. These are beautiful and extremely clear and many are either production or promotional pics taken from TOS. Most of these wonderful images I've never seen before. Does anyone know if there is a listing anywhere on the net so one can see what they've already released and how many there are and how long these have been produced? They really are amazing shots. Creation's site has little to show as I expected.

One of these pictures is Nimoy as Spock on the Carol Burnet show in 1967. Anyone know if this footage is available anywhere? It's not yet on Youtube ...

Seriously, look at some of these images ...

Desilu and Paramount used press and publicity photographers - e.g., Gene Trindl and Herb Ball, Jr. - to photograph the actors, many times on the set before or after filming. The photographs they took were/are used for a variety of purposes – magazine covers, stills, etc, and I'm 90.5% certain that these Creation photos were originally among those. The Motion Picture and Television Archive has some of them available for licensing. Go here and search for “Star Trek”: http://www.mptv.net/

Note that many of these photos are still copyright protected.

By the way, the original photography was done with either 4x5 or 2.5 x 2.5 format cameras, and the resulting transparencies were incredibly sharp. The originals are highly sought after today.
