For me, it's a tie between "Dead Stop" and "Regeneration". There are others that I really like too, i.e. "Singularity", "First Flight", etc.
They're pretty much the ones I'd choose too, though I'm equally torn between Minefield and The Expanse too. I've also got a soft spot for Horizon too, just purely because it was a chance for Anthony Montgomery to get some well deserved and loooong overdue time in the limelight.
I liked carbon creek, regeneration was also very good. and the expanse where we saw starfleet had other ships too
Minefield Dead Stop Singularity The Catwalk Stigma* Cease Fire Cogenitor The Expanse *Just the Feezal/Trip/Phlox silliness ... the "mind melding is a perversion" thing just ticks me off...
I liked Carbon Creek, The Seventh, Minefield, Dead Stop, Regeneration, First Flight, Cogentitor, and The Expanse the most. I also liked Vanishing Point, isn't that one that divides people?
I was pretty underwhelmed by this season other than Minefield and Dead Stop, but then came Cogenitor which I think is a classic. The following week came Regeneration which I loved because the Borg were scary again after having been neutered ever since I, Borg. Then a few weeks later they ended with The Expanse which was just incredible when it first aired.
My list would be "Dead Stop", "Singularity", and "the Expanse." Many of the other other's mentioned are really strong episodes as well, and would be right there below my top 3.
Carbon Creek The Expanse Regeneration Singularity (Honorable mention to Marauders, ONLY because T'Pol wears the white catsuit)
Definitely! That's a wardrobe switch-out I wish they'd have kept around for a while. Unfortunately they couldn't have combined that outfit with a strong episode and had a double whammy on their hands..
From season two, I liked "A Night in Sickbay" and "The Breach" the most. I might be in the minority on the "Sickbay" episode though. I just thought both of the episodes were engaging. Whether it be for reasons of humor, human interest or action/adventure.
I'm going to come out of the closet here . . . I liked A Night in Sickbay too. I hate the way Star Trek sometimes forces needless danger upon the ship and always wished they would do more episodes where nothing was at stake. I also liked some of the surreal imagery. I came away from that episode wondering had I just watched that episode or was it all a weird dream I had. I liked that feeling. Great episode? Dear gods no! Weird and pleasant diversion? Yup.
Speaking of closet, I like Precious Cargo. It was not my favorite, but I don't consider it among the worst. ... There. ... I said it.
If I ever get an hour with no distractions at home, I'm likely to watch Singularity, which makes me laugh every time, or Cogenitor, which decidedly doesn't, so those tie for my S2 favorites. I also like A Night in Sickbay (again, funny!) and Vanishing Point (the reactions to Hoshi's death just get me), despite being told over and over again that I shouldn't. Of all of S2, actually, the only one I can't/won't rewatch (not even in fast forward) is Marauders.
