I'd assume from the location that the poster you're responding to is ESL, so you may want to factor that in.

Let Kenny and me decide who the assholes and dicks are, thanks.

Seems like refit NX-01 is not in the cards. A, B and D seem to be happening.

What makes you say that? Doug Drexler is all over this show and he seems to adore the refit. This being probably the last real chance we'll probably have to see it, I'm putting my money on the refit. Not that I'll be sad if I'm wrong, I prefer the original look.

What does the refit NX-01 look like again? Added secondary hull?

Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great to see the refit. But, just guessing that they'll stick with the iconic look. We'll see!

Thank you for making some sense and providing some understanding that should have been in the episode.

I concur, it makes ALOT more logical sense for the Holographic GUI to "NOT BE TRANSPARENT!"

Transparency makes things unnecessarily difficult for the end user who has to look / read / interpret it.

It's also WAY easier on the VFX team if they don't have to with extra Transparency and blend it into the background.
On a computational level, it's also Cheaper/Faster/Easier as well to be fully Opaque.

Eh. Not really. Transparency is just an alpha channel added to the element being overlaid onto the footage, and an overlay works the same either way.

The hard part would be motion tracking and roto, depending on how much the footage is moving and if the hologram passes behind anything in the shot.

It's easier to obscure on top of an object than to blend in, especially on a computational perspective.
When you alpha things, it's more computationally intensive than to cover it up on a processing / energy used level to acheive the results.

Do the scales of the ships in the fleet museum seem off to anyone else? They're all about the same size, even the B'rel. That and the old Constitution should be much smaller, right?
