Can't help but wonder how some of these celebrities feel about this shift in promotional material. Do they prefer answering the same 6 or 8 questions over and over again for different outlets, or do they prefer this kind of inane nonsense emulating whatever trend has gone viral with the key demos this year?

I kinda suspect it's the latter.

I had heard actors talk about 'press junkets' and stuff before... but I never really knew what it was until someone edited together all the clips of Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie doing press together (showing how funny they were together). This was before the tv show and I think it was mainly for Winter Soldier and Civil War and then Infinity War (because Winston Duke, M'Baku was with them for a bunch).

But they'd be in like the same outfits, same room and meeting different reporters and so many of the questions would be identical so they'd get 'loopy' and just say random shit at times.

Yeah, as far as I know when they do those, they literally just sit there all day as a stream of reporters either come through the room or talk to them over a TV, and mostly ask the same questions over, and over, and over again.

Really like Season 3 so far. Just wondering how and why New Republic Coruscant looks almost exactly like it did in the prequels, while Andor indicated that some big changes happened at some point during Palpatine's rule. Had the NR nothing better to do than converting the entire ecumenopolis back to how it looked like before?

And what happened to Pershing actually made me really sick and sad. I really thought that Kane fall in love with him for a lot of time of this episode. Did she kill him at the end?

Also couldn't imagining the NR using such unethical means like brainwashing against ex-imperials.

By the way, is Chandrila still the capital of the NR or is it Coruscant now, because of a retcon?

Mando and Bo (re)joining the watch together was really interesting to see. Am really excited to see what happens next.

Just wish there was more Grogu in this episode, doing Grogu things ;)

Well, this is what it looked like in the ROTJ SE:

So I think a lot of it was more or less unchanged.

Hadn't considered the ROTJ scenes, because of the special effects for Coruscant being not as advanced as the ones for the Prequels, Andor and now Mando.

While Andor and Mandalorian Season 3 were made around the same time.

Has Grogu spoken in the episode or not?

It sounded for me like he may have spoken one or two sentences in an alien language...

I think he was trying to speak, I don't think he actually said.

There's no major architectural changes to Level 5127 visible in Andor. The interior décor of government buildings are another matter of course, and for obvious reasons ISBHQ was almost certainly a new build, but that's all a drop in the ocean when applied to a city wide planet that has layers going all the way down into the planetary core.
Well that's the thing about deprograming someone that's been brainwashed; sometimes it requires methods very similar to how they got brainwashed in the first place. In the real world the efficacy and ethics of such procedures are dubious at best.
In this instance though, they're not trying to brainwash him. They're treating what they think is a relapse of compulsive behaviour resulting from a lifetime of socio-neural conditioning by very gently disrupting his brainwaves.
There's no indication in the episode that Coruscant is the capital of the New Republic. Nor is there any mention of either Chandrila still being the capital, or if it has been moved to any other planet after the 5 or 6 years it's been since Endor.

Somehow I doubt that they'd make a point of not just making Coruscant the new capital, opting instead of a term limited capital system, and just immediately making it the second planet in line anyway. So no, I don't think that's the case here.

Does this mean someone was kidnapping children to be stormtroopers way before the First Order was a thing, or that the seeds of the First Order was sown really early (maybe one warlord had a v long term plan!)

The groups that headed out to the Unknown Regions immediately after the Battle of Jakku were those that started the First Order, or at least an Imperial State in Exile. This included General Hux's father, who was the one that setup the idea to kidnap children to make stormtroopers as they felt the halfway point (ethically) between Clone Troopers and Jedi would be kidnap kids and train them as young as possible.

Yeah, the exact time table of when they started calling themselves "The First Order", when they started that massive military build-up, or when they began to appear on the borders of Republic space isn't clear as of yet. Oh and never mind how an exiled fleet with no support infrastructure could even do any of that. Massive fleets can just magically appear out of nowhere in Star Wars.
The idea of Mark Williams playing a disciplinarian type is certainly a novel concept. They should totally do that!

Palpatine had infrastructure built out in the unknown regions as part of his contingency IIRC.

What do you expect to happen with Corusant? Litterally thousands of years of build up, no major battle, itll just be toppling of some statues renaming of some buildings, people in charge changing, but in all, nothing much changing.

5 years since Jakku, so the First order and Sith are out there in Exegol and starkiller base. maybe spies and others in the new republic.

In point of fact, one of the High Republic novels makes mention that Monument Plaza predates the Sith occupation that followed the Fall of the Old Republic, and supposedly was barely touched during or since. It's a fair bet Coruscant as a whole hasn't changed all that much in that last four of five millennia, never mind the last few decades.
'Resistance' leaves one with the impression that Starkiller base was a relatively recent project, as evidenced by the multiple moons & planets recently cored out as test runs. We know from the 'Ahsoka' novel and 'Fallen Order' a huge chunk of Ilum's crust was carved out fairly early on, so whether Starkiller was originally an Imperial project that got abandoned then restarted much later, or something that was under constant construction for 40 or 50 years is unclear. Personally I'd rather it not exist at all because it's a really dumb idea, but we're stuck with it nonetheless.
