Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 2x06 - "Two of One"

I have my doubts as well. I feel like the longer they go without answering what q is doing and why the worse the answer will be and it’ll quickly be glossed over in the finale. It already doesn’t make sense.

I really hope the answer isn’t q tried to fix things and it’s the crew that created the confederation timeline.

 

The people who created that exhibition at the Biltmore either don't know or choose to ignore one of the key rules of exhibition. Never place your text where it is blocked from being read by obstacles.

 

I feel like episodes 5 and 6 should have been one episode.

 

It's Q. Why anyone cares what he's doing or why is beyond me.

I’ll add I liked season 1 (although not as much as season 2 so far), even though I found the ending awful. And can think of several books I liked while hating the ending.

 

It’s the plot / mystery of the season.

 

Indeed. But, I find Q largely inscrutable about motivations.

 

X-Men too...oh, wait...

 

Or 24. I forget how many times the CTU got infiltrated by bad guys, moles etc. you’d think a government agency would have better security than the CTU guards. Or pretty much in any type of cop show where bad guys get into all sorts of places that’s hard to in real life.

 

I've finally caught up (I've been a week behind all season ).

 

A flawed episode, to be sure, with perhaps more than its share of non-sequiturs and contrived situations, but at the same time, one with lots and lots of suspense. And a few interesting revelations.

The defibrillator may have been damaged in the process, but it did work. And as to Talinn conveniently having the equipment on hand to climb into Picard's head, well, she's an agent of Aegis. A supervisor, in fact. All that's missing (so far, at least) is the cat. She's prepared for everything; it's part of the job description.

And remember, Renée's depression and anxiety were artificially intensified by Q's influence. And quite right, not all astronauts are John Glenn ("Mr. Clean, the Marine," happily married, to the day he died, to a church organist with a severe stutter).
