I can't recall exactly what at the moment but there was a weird brief scene that seemed to be leftover from the editing floor.

Not bad, only so so episode this season was the Racing one.
I don't mind them finding the occasional jedi. There not going out there way, but since there in the more seedy side of the galaxy, bound to come across some.

I enjoyed this episode a lot more than most other recent ones.

I enjoyed the episode. I think everyone here has already covered any issues I had, weird editing, we need to put out the fire and then cut too everything is OK again in the next scene.
One thing I will add is that the lighting of the animation seems different, darker with more shadows. Looks nice but definitely needed to dim the lights in my room to appreciate it.

I really enjoyed this episode and that's largely due to Gungi. I loved how Omega didn't even hesitate about the consequences in intervening his torture, she immediately jumped in save him. Likewise, Hunter had no issues in him helping, regardless of the risks after their escape.

I was very late to the game with The Clone Wars (and Rebels, too), finally pushed into giving it a shot thanks to Ahsoka's appearance on The Mandalorian. After I watched the arc with the younglings, I asked a good friend if we would ever see any of them again and he was carefully mum about the point. At the time, we didn't see them again, but I'm thrilled it finally became a reality for at least Gungi. Here's hoping we'll see him again, if not on this show, then somewhere else.

There's a character in one of the trailers that some people think is another one of the younglings in that CW arc, but I'm not sure.

It is possible. I think we see the droid from that arc in one of the few shots for Ahsoka.

I wasn't even certain it was Gungi at first, but then he pulled the lightsaber and I was like yes!

Hopefully voiced by David Tennant again.

That would be basically the "hell yes" moment for the year. Tennant back in both Star Wars and Dr. Who. Even if only for this year.

I wasn’t expecting a Rogue One cameo (Senator Pamlo) that was neat. Voiced by her actor from rogue one as well

    I missed her???

Anyway, I enjoyed this one. It was nice to see Coruscant.

I've got two questions out of watching this episode. I'm not certain but did the dialogue verify it had been a year since the destruction of the cities on Kamino? Secondly, what would this mean for Crosshair, both with Clones being phased out and Rampart being gone....?

Quite a few surprises in that one, so here's a brief list of things I didn't seem coming going into these episodes: -
    • Senator Chuchi not just returning (appropriately aged up), but getting two whole episodes centred squarely on her.
    • Senator Pamlo showing up in animation at all, ever (and still played by the same actress no less!)
    • Both the Banking Clan and (maybe?) the Commerce Guild still having senate representation.
    • The "Mysterious Sniper" NOT turning out to be Crosshair.
    • Echo leaves to Batch to join Rex* (though I kinda did by about the half-way point.)
    • Rampart being given the push so early in the season (I assumed that would come much later.)
    • Palpatine turning the whole thing around and getting his way, no matter the outcome (but I really should have by this point, so that's on me!)
Also some unanswered questions that one hopes gets expanded upon in the rest of the season like: what the hell is Crosshair going to do now? With Rampart out, and the Empire going full on with the Stormtrooper program, he's in an even more tenuous position than ever. Will he return to the fold, or go full Death Trooper in a desperate bid for relevance?
Speaking of; I'm presuming what we're seeing with the Clone assassin is the beginning of the Death Troopers; fanatically loyal and cybernetically enhanced to the point where they're half-way to being droids. (I also presume that both this and the Dark Trooper program all fall under the 'War Mantle' project, since apparently it's still a thing decades later.)
What's going to become of Chuchi? We know the Clones end up decommissioned and abandoned, so that doesn't go well. Plus we never see her later as part of the Alliance. Not saying she's 100% going to get "disappeared", but there's a fairly good chance. I mean it's not like the ISB (if it exists yet) are going to take long to draw a direct line between the colossal breach of security at the shipyards, and Chuchi presenting evidence that could only have been obtained from Rampart's ship, mere minutes after some mysterious mercenary group took it for a tiny joy-ride. Whether she can be directly implicated or not, Imperial internal security is going to be all up in her business.

Not exactly. If anything the dialogue only proves that it can't have been more than a year ago.
All that's said is that the funding intended for the cloning program had been siphoned off over the past year, and that said funds began being diverted "months" in advance of the destruction of Kamino.
That could mean two months in advance, or six, or ten. So the chronology is as ever, still fairly vague.

I love the world building going on with the vast array of characters to indulge in. Getting 'Andor' vibes again.

That would be fantastic. His voice work as that droid was excellent.

Addendum: looks like the starwars.com staff finally noticed they'd forgotten about adding new episode guides each week, and have just dropped them all at once.

ETA: random thought, but with Rampart gone, does this mean Crosshair will finally get to finish a meal without interruption?

Or maybe this was the plan all along. Really hard to tell.

The planet they were on in the racing episode was originally created for the unproduced Boba Fett/Cad Bane Clone Wars arc.

The guide for Tribe also calls those creatures 'netcasters', not kinrath, but does mention they were inspired by the KOTOR kinrath.

Well, this is a first -- an episode of The Bad Batch with none of the title characters appearing. The last time, at least Crosshair could be counted as a Batch member. I was expecting him to turn out to be the assassin, but I guess they weren't taking him that far yet. And I was expecting Slip's contact to be Hunter or Echo, but it was Rex. The closest thing we got to a regular TBB character here was Rampart.
