Gunn is saying this is the saddest MCU movie and I’m really worried about Rocket.

The new ship is interesting. Are those new Guardian specific uniforms or more something like the Novas? They kind of reminded me of that design.

They're based on the Guardian costumes from the comics.

Did I see Rocket's otter girlfriend?
    Damn, that looks great.
Did a Comic-Con start today or something? I'm assuming there must be some reason we got the trailers for Transformers: Rise of The Beasts, Indiana Jones and the Dial Destiny, and this all today.

You did, part of the story is going to be Rocket's backstory.

It took a couple of rewatches to realize that was Counter-Earth and the High Evolutionary there at the beginning. Does that mean Rocket is one of his earliest experiments?

Looks like they are trying to be as emotional as the video game. I doubt it will be though.
Curious how they will handle Gamora. Is she going to get back those memories? How does this time displaced thing work?

If true i will have to do heavy duty damage control for a friend. She's a huge Guardians fan and gets very emotional over movies and shows. If this turns out to be a sad movie she'll cry her eyes out ( she lost it hard when Yondu died).

Personally i'm ok with it if it works within the story - emotional scenes work best when you care for the characters and Gunn made me really care about the Guardians family.

Hopefully she won't have the same fate she did in the comics.

Not that it matters but i noticed this in the Holiday Special - did Bautista put on a little weight? ;) His face looks a bit more round than in Guardians 1 or 2.

He's getting older. I believe he's also gone on record and criticized he "physique" expectations for Marvel movies. I assume that meant he wasn't going to kill himself to get back in Drax form for the final movie.

Completely understand and approve this. It is ridiculous to which length some actors go to bulk up - Hemsworth didn't even start to look human in Thor 4. Hell, they made Paul Rudd, mostly known for his comedy roles, get a sixpack and they always find more or less ridiculous ways to get them to drop the shirt. It's ridiculous and the same applies to the women too - still kinda mad at the prolonged ass shot of Johanssen at the beginning of Winter Soldier.

Unless you go full unhealthy, meaning drugs and very unhealthy amounts of bodybuilding, age is a thing. I'm 40 right now, and my entire body is different compared to 5 years ago.
